Everything has changed

Chapter 9

Maya's P.O.V

We stood in the pouring rain passionately kissing for what felt like for ever but then reality hit me.

We can't do this

She was the one that said it can't happen again

But it feels so right

I pulled away and shook my head "I'm so sorry" I whispered as I moved out of her embrace and started walking away "did that mean nothing to you, why are you leaving?" I swung around "of course it meant something to me but you were the one came here to tell me that this cannot happen again" her expression changed and she looked furious "so you aren't going to even give this a chance, you always used to say you were up for anything" she screamed taking a step toward me.

"I'm sorry Riley" I said sobbing as I ran from the park, I ran as fast as I could not knowing where I was going everything around me was just a blur.

I stopped running and I was standing in the middle of the street I fell to my knees and started to cry and cry.

I had my head in my hands when I heard a loud beep and someone knocked me over.

"Are you okay?" the guy said standing up and offering me a hand, I couldn't see his face properly but he just saved my life "yeah I guess" I reached up and grabbed his hand.

"Why don't you come back to my house and we can get you cleaned up" he said and smiled "okay sure, thank you for saving my life" I said as we were walking.

"It's alright pal" he said and I gave him a weak smile

I know his voice

But I don't know where from

"I'm Maya" I said holding my hand out for him to shake, he ignored it "I know" he said and pushed me to the ground, pain went through my body as I landed on something sharp.

He grabbed me by my hair and dragged me along the ground "help me" I screamed but no one seemed to hear me "shut up slut" he said.

He stopped walking and let go of my hair, I tried to get up and run but he kicked me down and then kicked me twice in the ribs.

The rain started to stop and I looked up at the guy.

I know him

He's that guy Lucas was fighting with

Author's Note

I'm sorry this wasn't a happy chapter, but that is why the last chapter ended happy.

I wanted to give you guys at least one happy chapter.

There will be more happy chapters but you will just have to bare with me :D
