Everything has changed

Chapter 14

Riley's P.O.V

I walked until my feet couldnt take it anymore.

I sat down on the side of the road and looked around.

Where am I? 

I have never been here before.

Why are there no street lights?!?! 

I got back up and continued walking down the dark, unknown road.

The wind started to pick up and it was getting cold.

Out of the corner of my eye I could see a light down the end of a dark alley.

There was a lamp post lighting up a small playground.

Great a dark alley, just what i wanted.

Maybe if i just run to the end it won't be as scary.

I pulled my duffle bag to my chest and hugged it.

GO.

I ran as fast as I could my heart pounding against my chest.

I was nearly at the end when a dark figure appeared and stood at the end of the alley.

I tried to stop but I was running too fast.

I slipped on the gravel and fell onto my hands and knees.

I slowly sat up and looked at my knees.

The knees of my pants were gone and blood was running down my legs.

I stood up and backed away from the dark figure who was getting closer and closer.

I turned around and went to run but i ran into someone.

The person pushed me to the ground and stood over me.

I couldn't see who it was but i didn't want to stay and find out.

 I got up to try and run away but one of them kicked me in the stomach.

I fell onto my side while they were kicking me over and over again.

The light at the end of the alley began to get darker and darker.

Until everything went black.

-Time skip to the morning-

I woke up lying in the dirt in immense pain.

What happened?

I looked around and saw my duffle bag and all of the contents scattered around me.

I sat up and my head started spinning.

I crawled around picking all of my stuff up and i got up and dusted the dirt off of me. 

I walked out of the alley and saw my reflection in a window.

My jeans were ripped and covered in blood my shirt was also covered in blood.

My entire body was covered in blood. 

The Cuts that Luke made have opened up again and they are still bleeding.

I look like a mess.

I'm covered in blood and dirt.

My clothes are ripped and blood stained.

My hair is matted with dirt and blood.

I kept walking and to my surprise i came across a hospital.

My head began spinning again but i kept walking.

I walked in the door to the hospital and the lights became to bright for me to handle.

I covered my eyes.

I could hear doctors and nurses rushing around and children screaming. 

My legs became weak and I fell to the ground. 

I closed my eyes and thought about Maya and how beautiful she is until everything went black.

Sorry I haven't updated in ages school has been so stressful and i have had so many exams and assignments to do.
