A knock on my door drags me out of bed.

Wiping my cheeks, I run over to answer the door. Louis. I swear, he is stalking me.

"Louis?" I ask, pushing my long brown hair out of my face. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to hang out."

Louis and I have been texting nonstop for the past two week. I was completely wrong to judge him. He's absolutely amazing.

"You could've given some heads up." I tease, letting him in. "What did you bring?"

"Disney movies and ice cream." Louis says.

"Ice cream at 9am?" I ask, sitting beside him on the couch, my legs tucked under me.

"Yeah. Why not?" Louis shrugs, handing me a pint of ice cream. "What do you wanna watch first? Hercules or Little Mermaid?"

"Little Mermaid." I say, popping off the lid and taking a scoop of my ice cream. "The best Disney movie of all time."

Louis' jaw drops. "Hell no." He says. "The best Disney movie of all time is Toy Story."

"Now you're just talking absolute bullshit." I snap, crossing my arms.

No one insults me and my love for Disney. Little Mermaid is the best fucking movie ever.

"It's a movie about mermaids! Who wants to see something about talking toys?"

"Ariel changes everything about herself just so she can fall in love with a guy. She risks her life and her dads life just so she can get what she wants. It sends a bad message." Louis replies, copying me by crossing his arms.

We move on after that. By noon, there's an empty pizza box on the coffee table and our ice cream pints are gone.

"Are you cold?" Louis asks sweetly, looking over at me and smiling a bit.

"A little." I reply, just noticing that I'm shivering.

Louis grabs a blanket from beside him and wraps it around the both of us. I curl up beside Louis, resting my head on his shoulder. I feel his arm wrap around my waist, his hand resting at my hip.

I look up at him, our faces barely an inch away. Louis speaks up first. "Warm enough?"

"Yeah." I say quietly, my head starting to spin.

Before I can even process what's going on, Louis has kissed me. It was soft and gentle, just how I imagined his lips would be. I found myself melting into his embrace. I kiss back.

When I pull away, I don't dare look in his eyes. I just place my head back on his shoulder and watch the end of Toy Story 2.

No strings. No boyfriends. No falling in love. I've been hurt enough to know not to fall for a guy. Ever.

I'll just stay at home and live with my cats forever.
