"Excited for dress shopping?" Louis smirks from the couch.
"Very. I think it's just because the dress has to be perfect and I don't wanna second guess myself." I sigh, sitting beside him, resting my head on his shoulder.
"You'll be fine. Like I said, you'll look beautiful in anything you wear." Louis grins. "Now go, I think your mum is here. Bye, love you."
"Love you too."
Heading out to the car, Jay and my mum are waiting for me. "Hello." I smile, biting my lip lightly.
The boys and Sophia are already at the shop when we get there. But, of course, Sophia and Niall are arguing.
"What's the topic of argument today?" I tease, walking up to them.
"We're now in a bet to see who can find your wedding dress." Niall answers.
"Because I have much better taste then him." Sophia finishes.
"This has been going on for twenty minutes." Harry groans. "Thank god you're here."
We spend the next bit of time sifting through dresses. I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for, so we're all basically picking up anything any of us like.
"I think it's about time to try things on." I mumble when I see the dresses starting to pile up.
"That's probably a good idea." Jay says.
I try on a few dresses, narrowing down a certain type of style that I like. With my hair in a messy bun, the consultant helps me into the next dress.
"I mean." I sigh, glancing at myself in the mirror. "It's a nice dress."
"But not what you're looking for." Mum finishes for me.
"Next." Niall announces, waving me off.
"You're sassy today." I tease, giving him a look.
"Sophia brings out my inner sass." Niall snaps.
"Whoa, watch what you say about my girlfriend." Liam scolds sarcastically, pulling Sophia closer to him.
"It's true though." Sophia replies teasingly.
"I'm out." I say, lifting up the bottom of the wedding dress and going back to the fitting room.
I absolutely fall in love with the next dress. It's so different from the others I've tried on.
"Holy shit." I say to myself as the consultant zips it up. And it even fits perfectly. "This is gorgeous."
Everyone gasps as soon as I'm standing in front of them. "That looks amazing." Jay says.
"It's got a matching veil." The consultant says. I pull out my long, wavy hair out of its bun so she can out the veil on.
"You look so stunning." Sophia says. "I'm almost disappointed this isn't my pick."
"Who picked it?" I ask, turning to face them.
"I did!" Harry shouts proudly.
"Wow." Jay says. "I'm actually surprised."
"Me too." I laugh, my eyes starting to tear up a bit.
I turn around again, staring at my reflection. In this moment, it starts to dawn on me. I'm getting married to Louis after three years of being together and a six months breakup. I'm a bride.
"Having a bridal moment?" Mum asks softly, standing next to me.
"Yeah." I sigh, smiling at my reflection.
This is my wedding dress. I'm getting married. This is so surreal.
I crawl into bed beside Louis, clad in just his tee shirt. "How was dress shopping?"
"I got my dress." I sigh, my fave buried in his neck. "Harry picked it out."
"I'm surprised."
"We all were." I laugh, a yawn escaping my lips. "I love you so much."
"I love you too, Ky."
