So, of course after my little adventure with Adrian last night, my mother and father came home eventually and smothered me with a bunch of, 'What happened?'s and 'Are you okay?'s. Only to scold the hell out of me afterwards.

My father said, "That'll teach you not to break up fights, I guess."

While my mother, on the other hand, decided to use a more colorful vocabulary to scold me. She eventually ended her cuss word rainbow with, "Stay the hell away from that family!"

------

"Sophia-Rose. Wake up, sweetie."

Ugh, she never calls me sweetie unless she wants something. I seriously don't feel like stocking shelves right now.

"What do you want?" I groaned from under my covers.

"Well, since my kids almost broke your ankle, I figured I would take you out to breakfast."

I peeked out from under my covers and saw Sarah sitting on my bed with hopeful eyes.

"If that's alright with you." She said.

"Oh, um, oh my gosh. That's alright with me. Yes." I said, trying not to sound as eager as I felt.

"Yay!" She jumped up. "You might be a little late to school though." She deflated a little.

"That's okay!" I said a little too loud. "I mean, I'm sure they won't miss me." I tried to regain any lost cool.

"Well then! Get dressed in your pretty clothes and come out to the car!" She sang then basically danced out my room.

I laughed a little at the confused look on Zax the cat's face.

I got up and hopped to the shower. Yes, I literally hopped.

After I showered, I brushed my curls and left them down.

I guess I have to wear tennis shoes until my ankle gets better, so I definitely can't wear a dress. I sighed and quickly put some dark blue jeans on and a red V-neck sweater.

I did my make-up, put my silver locket necklace and silver studs on, grabbed my bag then hopped down the stairs.

As I hopped past the kitchen, I saw yet another note on the counter!

My parents are terrible people.

I limped in the kitchen and read the note.

Hey, Rose Bud!

Sorry, I know your mother and I are awful people for leaving you home alone all the time but, hey, whatta ya gonna do?

We promise to be home for dinner!

Your mother changed her mind about the Addams so I guess you're going to drive with them to school or whatever. Save the planet, right? I don't know. I'm just writing random stuff.

Love you! Have a great day! Don't hurt any other body parts, please!

Dad

I sighed and put the note back on the counter and limped out the house.

I limped over to Sarah's car and got in.

"Ready?" She smiled.

"Where is everyone?" I looked around the empty car.

"They're going to take the school bus today. It's just me and you!" She said and pulled out the driveway.

I just smiled.

I honestly don't know how to act around nice good looking people.

Is it weird that I have a crush on Mrs. Addams? Mrs. Addams!
