"Oh my gosh, Sophia-Rose! What happened? Are you okay?" Jamie yelled as she ran over to me.

"I'm fine." I smiled.

"Alex almost bit her ankle off." Adrian appeared behind me and put his hands on my hips to hold me up.

"Your little brother? But he's so sweet, why would he do that?" Elana asked.

"I don't think he likes me." I said.

"Well, Ms. Thompson, you sure know how to make an entrance, but if you don't mind, I'm trying to teach English here!" Mrs. Kiebler yelled. "To your seats!"

"Let me help you."

"Adrian, seriously, I can still walk." I said and pushed his hands away.

"Well, I still want to help you." He said and lifted me a couple inches off the floor and carried me to my seat.

I huffed and plopped into my seat.

Today's going to be a long day.

-------------

"Awwee!" I rolled my eyes as I heard more girls coo at Adrian and I.

He's literally carried me, bridal style, from class, to my locker, then to my next class.

I can't remember the last time my feet touched the floor.

"Adrian, please set me down."

"Why? Everyone else seems to love it." He looked down at me and smiled.

"I don't love it." Jamie said and glared at me.

Aw, what?!

Does she think I asked for this? She thinks I like this?!

No! She's wrong!

I hate this!

"Aww, is little Jamie jealous?" Elana teased.

"Yes, I am!" She stomped her foot and stopped walking. "Adrian, what the hell!"

"What?" He asked like the idiot he is.

"What do you mean what?!"

"I mean, what!"

"Put her down, Adrian! She can walk on her own!" She said and crossed her arms.

"Please put me down." I whispered.

I could start to see the pits of Hell inside of Jamie's eyes as she looked at me.

"I don't want her to hurt herself!" He said.

"She's not going to hurt herself! Put her down!"

"No!"

"Adrian!"

"Jamie!"

"Ugh! You're so stupid!" She yelled at him.

"Can we get to class?" I asked.

I just want to get away from these two.

And I want to see Morgan.

"Why am I stupid? You're the one making something out of nothing!" He yelled at her.

"Because it is something! Why can't you see that?!" She yelled.

"See what?!" He yelled.

"Fuck you, Adrian!" She cried then stormed off. In the opposite direction of our class!

"Dammit." He sighed then put me down and ran after her.

"Wow." I said.

"Yeah." Elana laughed. "We probably won't see them all day."
