Today was hell.
Whenever Morgan tried to talk to me in the hallway or at lunch, Adrian or Joshua would interrupt him. Morgan would only get a chance to say one word before The Idiots would jump in with a, "Hey, guys!" or a "Whatcha talkin' bout?!", it was torture!
"Sophia-Rose! Earth to Sophia!" Jamie waved her hand in front of me.
"Oh, what? Sorry." I looked up at her.
"School's over. Come on, let's go!" She lifted me out of my desk chair.
We walked down the empty hallway and made our way to my locker.
"So, what are you doing this weekend?" Jamie asked as she leaned against the locker next to mine.
"Nothing, I guess. I thought I would have a date but that dream's down the drain."
"A date?" She perked up.
"Yeah. A date." I sighed and put the rest of my books in my locker.
"You've been at this school for two days and you already have someone asking you on a date? Man, I guess I do owe Elena five dollars." She crossed her arms.
"Yeah-wait what?"
"Nothing." She sang. "I gotta go! I'll call you later so you can tell me about your destroyed dreams!" She said then skipped away from me and out the school doors.
"She's so weird." I heard someone chuckle behind me.
I turned and saw two green eyes looking down at me.
"Prince Morgan." I breathed.
"What?" He asked and I shook my head.
"U-um, what's up?" I asked.
Nice save, Sophia.
"Nothing much. I've been meaning to ask you something all day but I never got the chance to. So, here I am!" He smiled and I blushed.
"Okay, so, what'd you want to ask me?" I asked and started walking towards the door.
"Um..if you're free this Saturday," He started as he opened the door for me and walked outside. "would you like to go on a date with me?"
"Um-"
"I know I haven't even known you a week but I just think that you and I should get better acquainted with one another. You know, because you're really pret-I mean! You're a really pretty person! I mean, on the inside! I would love to be inside you! Oh god, no! I didn't mean it like that!" He stumble and fumbled with his words.
"Morgan!" I interrupted his outburst.
"Yes?" He answered, looking like he wanted nothing more than to run home.
"I would love to go out on a date with you. I'm honored you even asked." I said and his face reddened in unison with my own.
"You are?"
"Of course!" I said and he smiled. "Just tell me the time and place and I'm there!"
"Well, actually," He cleared his throat and Mousy Morgan was gone and Prince Morgan was back. "I was thinking I would pick you up. From your house. You know, I could come and your mother would tell me to come in then your father would glare at me and try to make me feel uncomfortable but I would win him over with my charm and good looks!" He beamed as he fantasized.
"Oh, um..okay I guess." I said.
"Ro-Ro!!! Come on!" I saw Adrian waving his arms as he stood in front of his mother's car.
