I woke up and looked around my room. I felt weird.

I threw the blankets off of me and stretched then stood up.

I looked at my phone. Thursday, 6:45am.

I guess my mother doesn't need any help at the bookstore.

I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth and took a shower.

I wrapped the towel around my body and walked back into my room. I glanced out the window for a quick second and wanted to pass out.

There sitting in his room, eating an apple while he held the binoculars to his eyes, was none other than the Creep God, Adrian.

He smiled at me and waved with the apple in his hand.

I couldn't keep the shriek down my throat.

I screamed my freaking heart out and waited for one of my parents to barge in my room and see the creep in action.

I was waiting for a while.

I glanced back at Adrian and saw that he was still watching me through the huge black binoculars. The corners of his mouth were slightly raised as the corners of my mouth hung low.

I walked over to my wall and snatched a poster of Mickey Mouse off the wall and hung it up in the window.

"Mom! Dad!" I yelled. Nobody yelled back.

Whatever.

I walked back into the bathroom and put my hair in a Katniss braid.

Yeah, I just called it a Katniss braid.

I sighed and walked into my closet and got dressed. A blue dress, brown waist belt and brown gladiator sandals.

I grabbed my bag and my phone then walked down the hall to my parents' room.

"Mom? Dad?"

No one!

Why?!

I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen and saw the pink note.

Hey, Rose Bud!

Your mother and I are going to be out all day because of some legal business with the store. Mrs. Addams offered to take you to school so go over there after you're dressed! Hope you have a fun day! If you don't, I'll buy you a puppy! Love you!

Dad.

P.S.: Just kidding about the puppy. How about ice cream?

I laughed a little and set the note on the counter.

At least I'd get to tell Mrs. Addams about her pervy son.

I walked out the door and over to their house and rang the doorbell.

The door opened but there was no one there and I almost ran.

"Hey! It's Sophie-Rose!" Mickey yelled and hugged my legs.

"It's SophiUH-Rose! Why can't you get the UH down?" Alex yelled and pulled Mickey off of me.

"It's okay, she can call me that if she likes." I smiled but his face stayed straight.

"No. She can't." He said and I laughed uncomfortably. Awkwardly.

"Sophia-Rose! Hi! Come in, come in!" Mrs. Addams said from behind Alex and Mickey.

I walked in and was greeted with the aroma of warm chocolate, bananas and blueberries. Um, ew.

"What are you cooking?" I asked, trying not to sound rude but failed.
