"Your positive you want to do this?" Spike asked Drake as the two sat in the parking lot of the Academy he would be attending from now on.
The other, dressed in a black suit with a red and black striped tie nodded as he watched boys walk inside of the building.
Spike ran a hand through his hair. "Alright.. I'll pick you up when school lets out." He told him.
Drake gave a quick nod before escaping from his brothers car then heading towards the building.
Spike leaned his head against the window.
"I feel like I'm going to regret this.." He murmured before backing up then drove off.
"Okay everyone, this is our new student Drake Stillwell, please take the time to show him around and maybe befriend him? Drake why don't you take a seat next to Jeremy." The teacher pointed to a teen with scruffy black hair, his eyes on his desk , what seemed like drawing.
Drake nodded, he walked over to the empty desk before taking a seat then began to take the notes as instructed.
The bell ran after what felt like two hours in that class, Drake sighed until he felt a tap on his shoulder, he turned to a smiling blonde with light blue eyes.
"Hey, the names Dakota, we're in English together." He introduced himself.
Drake smiled softly in return. "Its nice to meet you, are the classes usually that quiet?" He asked him.
Dakota shook his head as they walked down the hall with his hands in his pockets now.
"Not really, the guys are usually being really loud, but when we get a new kid. We do that respectful thing and be quiet for the first class, every other class? Your on your own." He said with a grin.
Drake blinked looking to him.
"Are there really ever any fights here?" He asked now.
Dakota arched a brow before frowning. "No... well, I mean you have some guys who will start stuff with ya but they back off if a teacher appears. Jeremy is one of those guys who will start stuff, so be cautious around him, hes pretty sly and with you being new? He'll take advantage of that." He told him.
Drake frowned softly. "I see." He murmured as they stopped at the History class.
"This is where I drop you off, I have gym now, so I'll catch you later at lunch." Dakota told him before jogging off.
Blinking, Drake looked into the class with a sigh before heading in.
"Good morning class, I hope you had a wonderful weekend." The history teacher said with a warm smile, she walked to the front of the class as the guys all looked at her with bored expressions.
"I explained last week abut the partner assignment that is due in two months? Well, because we have a new student that has joined us, we're going to re-partner up." She chimed earning cheers.
She shook her head.
"But I choose the partners." She told them that only earned groans now.
Drake smiled softly before leaning into his seat with his attention focused on the teacher.
"When I call out your names, look for your partner and give a friendly thumbs up." She told everyone.
She looked down at the list then to the class.
"Jared and Kenny."
"Blake and Aaron."
"Drake and Jeremy."
Drake's eyes slightly widened before he looked around the room until his eyes landed on gray eyes who gave him a thumbs up, Drake frowned but gave a thumbs up in return.
He listened to the teacher as she called out the last few students then began her session.
Drake removed himself from the desk as class was dismissed.
"Hey Drake." Said a voice, the brunette turned to the scruffy black haired teen who crossed his arms.
"The assignment isn't due for two months, but if you want, we can go ahead and at least do the research for our topic." Jeremy said looking at him.
Drake nodded. "Sure.. where do you want to do the research at?" He asked him.
Jeremy shrugged. "If its no big deal, we could do it at your place? My old man is home and I'm sure he'll be a shitty mood like usual." He told the other.
Drake blinked but nodded. "That's fine, I'm sure my brothers won't mind." He said.
"Brothers? What about your parents?" Jeremy asked with a frown.
Drake frowned, catching on Jeremy rose his hands in defense.
"Wow, that was uncool of me, my bad.." Jeremy apologized with a frown.
Drake shook his head. "No, its okay.." He told him.
Jeremy nodded. "Alright, after school meet me in the parking lot and we'll drive to your place." He said.
Drake looked at him with a nod.
He had to call Spike and let him know about the change in riding arrangements.
Drake let out a soft yawn as he walked down the hall, then into the main office before raising a brow finding Dakota there who glanced up then grinned.
"What are you doing in here?" The blonde questioned.
Drake frowned softly. "I have to call home and let my brother know about riding arrangements after school." He told him.
Dakota frowned but nodded.
The secretary looked up from her desk with a smile.
"What can I do for you, Mr.Stillwell?" She asked him.Drake looked at her. "I need to make a quick call home." He explained.
She nodded before handing him the phone.
"Hello? Spike?" Drake questioned.
{"No, this is Kelton, whats up? Wait, why are you calling? Is everything okay?"} The other questioned.
Drake rolled his eyes standing in front of Dakota.
"Kelton, where is Spike?" He asked.
{"Standing right beside me, your on speaker by the way."} Kelton smirked through the phone.
Drake sighed. "Spike?" He called out.
{"What is it Drake?"} Asked Spike now.
"Hey, the riding arrangements changed for my way home." Drake told him.
{"Um.. why? Are you literally going to walk across town to get here?"} Spike asked him.
Drake glanced to Dakota who was talking to the secretary about something.
"No, in History our teacher gave us a partner project, and my partner is going to drive me home so we can do it there." He explained.
{"The way you worded that last sentence.. doesn't sound right."} Kelton murmured.
Drake groaned in response.
{"Who is this partner? A friend? Already?"} Spike questioned.
Drake frowned. "He's an acquaintance.. we literally just met, three minutes ago." He told them.
Spike sighed on the other end. {"That's fine, as long as he's not a bad influence."} He said.
Drake let out a sigh of his own. "You guys are a bad influence, bye." He said and with that, hung up.
He walked out of the office with his arms crossed.
"Hey Drake, wait up." Called Dakota, he bit down on his tongue as he smiled softly turning to the other.
"Hey Dakota, whats up?" He questioned.
Dakota frowned. "Its none of my business, but who is this partner, I know all of the guys in this school a-"
"Its Jeremy." Drake blinked looking at the other with a frown.
Dakota looked at him. "Didn't I say he was one of the guys who caused trouble at school?" He scowled now.
Drake frowned. "You did, but I wasn't going to tell the teacher no.." He murmured.
Dakota sighed. "Don't say I didn't warn you." He said, and with that, walked away.
Drake walked out of the school building the moment the bell rang to go home, all day the students were really nice and helpful to him, none of the students were this nice at his old school..
He sighed looking around before catching Jeremy at a Toyota car, leaning against it with a cigarette sticking between his lips.
Drake frowned, walking over to the other who caught the other before throwing the cig to the ground then stomped on it.
"Ready?" Jeremy asked him.
Drake nodded as he slipped into the passenger seat, he didn't know what to say to this guy, Dakota already warned him about Jeremy; and here he was.. in the guys car.
The ride was quiet, the only times the two talked was when Jeremy would ask the other where to turn, until they made it to Drake's drive way to his house.
Jeremy let out a whistle looking at the size.
"Nice house you got here, must of costed a fortune." He commented.
Drake could only shrug. "My uncle helped my mom pay for it, my brothers never mention the price when the subject is brought up." He told him getting out of the car.
Jeremy rose a brow, removing himself from the car then followed the other inside.
This was going to be an interesting night.
Yaa-hoo! I told you guys this chapter was going to be longer than the other, I'm going to have fun with the guys and this school; being a supporter to homosexuality. There might be flirts and stuff in the future for Drake, I mean. It is to be expected, going to a all boy school.
Chapters 8&9 will be up sometime tomorrow
Until then.
Thanks!
