Chatper 26 : Surprise

We sat in a circle it was time to hand out all of the presents.
"Oh me first me first !" Max was laughing like a kid he was so excited he handed me a small blue box with name on it.
I opened the box and in it lay a small silver pendant with my name a heart and his.
"It's beautiful." I grinned as he slipped it on my wrist.
Everyone handed out there gifts until I had my last gift to give to Max.
I reached into my pocket the red box was hiding what it was as I handed it to him.
He ripped of the bow in excitement and just stared.
He stared at the thing that was telling him that he had to change now, he stared at the pregnancy test that said he was going to be a dad.
I looked at him awaiting his reaction in fear that he was going to be angry.
A single tear dripped down his cheek to hit the floor, he smiled at me.
"This has got to be the best Christmas present ever." He put it down before pulling me into a hug.
The rest of the team laughed and cheered but all that matters to me was that Max was still here with me.

*1 months later*

And he still was he was sitting next to me as we found out that we were having a baby girl. We are calling her ______. Max was so much happier at the moment he spent so much time with me making sure I was okay.
I wasn't taking time of work even though I was going to have to keep working at home soon.

*5 months later*

I held my baby in my hands her little ones rapped around my thumb. Max's head leaning on mine in the chair next to me. He had stayed when I put on weight and he had been there through all my cravings.
But everything was different now I wasn't me anymore I was hers and she was the new center of my attention, my world.
A few days later she opened her eyes, how beautiful, her eyes where chocolate brown and they stared up at me in wonder as I gazed back falling more and more in love with my baby, my little girl.
Max stared at her cooing and awwing when he got back from work everyday as I kept working from home and sending everything in.
"So how are my babys doing ?" Max's voice echoed from the front door.
"I'm doing very very good and she is mumbling." I smiled as he came to sit down next to me.
"Well aren't you just the most adorable thing in the world." He said picking her up and taking her into his arms.
She mumbled at him as he's eyes widened and he grinned back at her.
"Your back late." I said glancing over at the clock on the wall.
"Yea Barney packed our schedule on over time this week." He said as he handed her back to me.
He had been acting weird the last few days always late home and always out early.
"Well I'm going to have to talk to him about that." I said putting on a fake angry face.
"Nah don't worry he said it's only for this week." He said suddenly looking nervous.
"Oh, okay then." It wasn't unusual for them to have a busy week but he didn't want me to talk to Barney about it even though it was taking time away from him... For the baby and for me.

*The next day*

~via text msg~
-Hey Barney how are you.
-I is goods and yous ?
-I'm good but i was wondering Max said he had a really busy week and I was wondering if hum there was anyway you could I dunno give him some more time at home ?
-______ I gaves him the week off.
-What !
-Has he nots been at home ?
-No...
-ohs you shoulds probably talks to him about that...
-Will do. Thanks anyway.
-No problems.

He was lying to me god I hate it when he lies ! It rarely happens and it was usually silly things like did you do the dishes or did you really spend that much on video games (the last one I had said as a joke but he had still denied it until I showed him the bill.)
I'm not sure what he was doing why wasn't he at home with his family with me.
I feared the answer to that question to much to think about it.
He wasn't cheating on me was he...

Before last chapter... Aghhh such sadness many wow.
