Chapter 19 : Explenations 2

"Morning beautiful."
"I always seem to be fainting don't I..." My head pounded as I tried to sit up.
"No, no lie back down." Max's face swam into view.
"Hey there baby." I laughed leaning up against the pillows.
"Hey.." Ross's voice surged from the other side of the room.
"Hey Ross. No don't worry I'm fine." I smiled at him.
Max turned and glared at him.
"Baby now I want you to stay calm and." Max started.
"What, what are you talking about ?" Max held onto my hand. I stared at Ross.
"I.. I might have acted stupidly." Ross started.
"Wait what's going on I just had to much to drink it's silly." I said the headache getting worse by the second.
"I was upset and I had painkillers." Ross started again.
"Hum by the way can you get me some painkillers I have one hell of a headache coming on." I asked reaching out to Max.
"I'm sorry but he can't do that." Ross said.
"Will someone just tell me what's going on and water." My throat was dry.
"Here." Max handed me a glass. "On second thought." He walked over to my bag and pulled out my bottle of water.
"Thanks." I took it and chugged the whole thing. "That's nice." I dropped it on the floor.
"As I was saying hum, I didn't want you to spend the holiday with Max..." Ross continued. "So I wanted to knock him out for a day or two so I could have you to myself, it's silly huh, trying to hum drug my friend over some girl I just met."
"You did what !" I cringed even me shouting was hurting my head.
"I hum I drugged Max's drink because I wanted him out of the picture little did I know our underage friend liked the taste of alcohol." Ross finished.
"Get him out of here now." I gripped onto Max's shoulders.
Ross left the room, leaving me gripping onto Max for dear life.
My friend a person who I had trusted who supposedly loved me had just attempted to drug my best friend..boyfriend and had managed to drug me in the process .
I sat there gripping onto him a pounding in my head and let the truth soak into me.
I had just been betrayed by one of the people I trusted most at that moment it was like your ex all over again.
And all you had left was Max and no one was going to take him away from you ever.
"Don't you ever leave me again." Max whispered.
"As long as you hold me I won't." I replied just before I fell asleep.

Short chapter but it's something right, hope you enjoy it and as usual I will see you in the next chapter !
And while I was away we hit the 500 mark then the 600, which is crayzzay and I'm very happy.
