Chapter 27 : Always

*Four months later*

I was back in the office with baby _____ so I could get back to work.
"Hey _____, swing by my office when you are free I have some art designs I need doing." Ross said grabbing my shoulder.
"Of course, let me just grab my tablet and I will be right over." I said as I strolled over to Max's office.
"Hey, I left my tablet in here..." I picked it up before my eyes stopped on Max's back facing me a pair of arms rapped around his neck.
"I ohh.." Max turned around red lipstick staining his cheek.
I sprinted out of the room tears rushing down my face. I knew something was going on when he had missed that week at home but I couldn't believe it.
"Ross.. I got my tablet." I said trying to stop the flow of tears.
"Good, wait what's wrong." Ross frowned as I pulled up a chair and sat down next to him.
"I'm not sure, I just Max.. And lipstick... And I just don't understand." I sobbed.
*Knock Knock*
Max walked into the office.
"Hey..." Ross looked up at him and walked out of the office.
Max sat down next to me, his eyes running all over my face every where except my eyes.
"I don't understand ?" I said grabbing a tissue to stop my flowing nose.
Then Adam walked in.
"Hey baby sis." (His nickname for you), I looked him up and down his eyes were badly lined and mascara was all over his face.
I was confused a second before I caught on. The red lipstick that was on his lips was the same as the one on Max's cheek.
"Oh." I looked from Max to Adam.
"We were getting a screenshot for the new video going up on OfficeAntics in a few weeks." Adam said giving me a hug.
"I would never cheat on you, you trust me right ?" Max said kissing my cheek.
"Yes it just made me very confused. I didn't understand why this was happening, I know you love me." I grinned grabbing onto his hand.
"But you sure scared the hell out of me." I said smiling. "Now I have some work to do before I got fired for being stupid."
"Don't ever worry about that if I fired you not only would I lose an amazing artist but I'm pretty sure I would lose one of my editors as well." Adam grinned patting me on the back.

*That evening* 

"Hey I'm home !" Max's voice echoed outside.
He was back late he said he had something to pick up for work and to wait, he was gonna pick up takeout so I hung out with Alesa, Baby Mason and Baby ______.
"Hey..." I walked outside handing Baby _____ to Alesa as my eyes widened in surprise.
The pavement was covered in petals leading up to his car, Max was all dressed up and holding the biggest bouquet of flowers I have ever seen.
I turned around to Alesa she winked at me holding onto my baby.
"Don't worry I will look after her for a bit." She said closing the door behind me.
Max walked up to me and took me by the hand, leading me to the sleek black car.
"Where are we going ?" I asked sitting down next to him.
"A place we both will hold in our memories." He grinned mysteriously.
An hour later we arrived at our destination he covered my eyes as I exited the car.
"Surprise !" He took his hands off my eyes and grabbed my hand.
"The waterfall." I looked out over the place I fell in love with him.
The petals continued from where we were all the way down the hill, candles and roses followed.
He led me down the path, hand in hand, his silly little grin on his face as he pulled me down under the willow tree, the same food lay there just like before. In the tree now was a little hole and under it was carved our initials, they shimmered gold in the moonlight,
In the middle of the lake was a small floating raft a giant heart stood proudly on it again our initials lay carved into it.
"This is what I was spending that free week doing I ran around making this the most perfect thing ever." He murmured
"It's stunning..." I replied taken back by the sight before me.
Max walked up to the tree put his hand in the hole, out of it he pulled a little box.
He turned to me got on one knee and stared me strait in the eyes.
"_______ ________ _______ will you marry me ?" He opened the box to show a small diamond ring.
"Always..."
