1000 Years

~Chapter 2~

"I hate to tell you this because I know how much you love the woods, but you have to stop going into the mountains." My heart falls down to my stomach, I ask," why?" She sighs and says," I don't want you to end up like your father." I feel tears fall at the sight of my father laying on the ground, she stands up, I watch as she opens the door she says the next words I never wanted to hear," We are moving in to the clan house." She then leaves my room, I felt like the walls to my world was crumbling.

I have heard so much about the clan family, that I don't wanna move there. I sigh and look at the ceiling, why must the world hate Vampires? Why? I sigh and Robert walks through my door and says," hey sis." I say," what." He says," mom forgot to tell you one last thing we are moving next month." I laugh and say sarcastically," great."

Robert soon leaves, I lay on my bed and just feel numb. All I feel is numbness, all I see is a white ceiling. Then, I hear whispering coming outside my window. I look outside to see that guy from earlier, Eli or Levi or something like that talking to my mom.

It's not nice to eavesdrop, but I don't care. My mom asks," did you talk to her?' Eli says," I tried, but she seems like she really didn't want any friends." "I hate to see her like this I really do, but when we move into your fathers mansion it really is going to be tough on her, but she needs to understand I am trying to keep her safe." "I understand, but I don't know what that has to do with me." "You both will find out soon." What is she hiding?" I will try to talk to her, but honestly she doesn't want any friends." He then looks up to the window and our eyes make contact, I can't bring myself to look away from him perfect grey eyes.

"I know Eli, but I am trying to protect her from those wolves, especially their pack leader, he has been after her since she was born." What does he want with me. Eli says," yeah I know, go get some rest, hopefully she will except us." My mother nods and they both say their good bye's. Eli looks at me one last time before sprinting away.

This has been one long day and I know the next month will be harder. I sigh and walk downstairs to grab something to bite in, when I notice a too familiar Vampire sitting on the couch." Uncle Thomas?" He looks up and says," Amber!" I smile and hug my uncle. I ask," what are you doing here?" He says," I heard you was having a hard time with the news so I came to cheer you up." I say," Uncle Thomas you know how I feel about being around new Vampires." He gives me a sly smile and says," yes I know, but I have been living there for about a year now and I enjoy their company, their not as bad as you think."

I sit and talk to my uncle for a while, before going back in my room. I sit on my bed and think, how would I get blood? We don't drink human blood, we drink animal blood to keep us alive. What will I do since I can't exactly go outside. Why does the pack leader want me? Why is all this happening to me? Why so soon?
