1000 Years

~Chapter 7~

I stand in my black dress and lace black gloves. I cover my face as I cry, I fall to my knees and sob. In the place of my father is Eli. "Eli how could you leave me like this?" How could he just die on me. I see a little boy, Ethan. "Bubby come on I have been waiting for you." Eli laughs and says," I know, come on." I say," Eli." He doesn't hear me, but he can see me. "Amber?" I give a wave. He says," I am sorry." I cry harder and I see Ethan walk out from behind him and he says," she's pretty." I smile and cry harder, I wish he could hear me. I can hear him and see him, but he can only see me why? Eli's smile fades as he says," AMBER RUN." I turn and see the pack leader of the Wolves and I run. I run as fast as I can. "ELI, ELI, ELI?" He can't hear me, I come to an opening and I don't see anyone. I then hear," Amber, Amber Amber." "Eli?" "Amber wake up." What?

I open my eyes and Eli is shaking me. I hug him tightly, he asks," why are you crying?" I say," I t-thought you w-was dead." He hugs tightens and he says," I'm not going anywhere." I relax a little and say," okay." I don't stop crying, Eli wipes my tears and says," it's okay stop crying Amber." I nod and try to stop crying. I lay back down, Eli says," you probably don't want me in here so I'll go." I grab his wrist and say," no stay, please." He nods and lays beside of me. I scoot closer and place my arm across his waist and my head on his chest, listening to the steady pace of his heart.

"Awe look at that,"I hear moms sweet voice. "I knew they would find out soon, they look adorable," Eli's mom says, wait what? I wake up and ask," what are you two doing in here?" Eli's arm tightens around my waist pulling me back down, I mumble,"Jerk." Mom says," we came to tell you all food was done, but Eli wasn't in his room and then we found you all here." Eli wakes up and asks," what's going on?" I roll my eyes and they laugh.

I get up and say," up lazy ass you have to get ready." He asks," for what?" I give him a emotionless expression, he says," oh." I say," yeah 'oh'." I put on a knee length red and black dress, a black leather jacket, and my black high heels. I groan putting on these heels. I hate high heels, but mom is making me wear them to the ceremony.

Eli comes downstairs after almost half a century and we all leave for the ceremony at Eastwood Castle. Eli and I walk in together, I take a deep breathe. He whispers," you look beautiful." I smile and say," thanks." He smiles and says," welcome." There was nearly 300 Vampires there,  us and the other three families sit at a booth table.

The master stands at the podium and says," Good Evening Everyone, to start off with we have a new pair of mates, and I would like to give them their certificate, Eli Collin and Amber Greene." Eli and I walk up to the Master hand in hand. He smiles at us and hands us our certificates, which allows up to be "Married" in the human world.

We take our seats, but this ceremony was not for us. The Master wanted to through a ball for his son to find his mate. The Dj begins to play music, Eli and I begin to slow dance. I say," I don't understand how you could even put up with my shit." Eli laughs and says," because I just can." I smile, he spins me around and picks me up. I laugh and hold my arms out has he spins around with me in the air. Soon, Eli and I sneak out and head home.
