~Chapter 8~

Eli and I cuddle on the couch and watch horror movies all night. My phone vibrates and I see Robert message me," Where are you?" I reply," home with Eli watching movies." "How when Eli is here?" I freeze and say," I am going to the bathroom." He nods, I go into the bathroom and I call Eli's Cell phone. "Hello?" " where are you?" "Sitting here with Robert, where are you?" "I am home with a guy that looks like- a shapeshifter." Eli says," I am on my way."

I sit in the bathroom and wait for Eli to come here. I hear a knock on the door," Amber." I say," what?" He asks," what are you doing?" I say," Using the bathroom." "Hurry u-" I hear a thud and Robert says," Amber, Amber?" I say," yeah." He says," let me in." Eli says," Babe?" I sigh in relief and open the door.

Eli hugs me tight and says," I killed him, but you really need to be careful." I nod and hold on to Eli tighter. He says," come on." I get up, he carries me to my room and lays me down, I say," I am not sleeping in this dress." I walk over to my closet and put on my pajama pants and a band tee. I walk back into my room to see Eli strip down to his boxers. I stand in the door way, he asks," like what ya see?" My face heats up and I walk over to him and place my hand along his back and bring my hand towards his chest, I stand in front of me with both of my hands on his chest, I say," yes, yes I do."

He smirks and grabs my little waist and says," oh yeah." I say," yeah." He smiles and goes to kiss me, but I move away and say," okay lover boy lets go to sleep. He says," but Vampires don't really sleep." I shrug, he says," you're such a tease." I smile and say," maybe next time." He rolls his eyes and I climb into bed, he hold on to me pulling me closer to his chest.

I roll over and draw shapes on his chest,"having fun?" I say," mhmm." He laughs and says," okay." I smile and look up to see him staring at me, I ask," what?" He says," nothing, you're just beautiful." I smile and say," thanks." He smiles and his grip around me gets tighter. I smile and bite my lip. He glance down and then tilts my chin up," Eli.." He says," shh." I hear two cars pull in," Eli." He says," what?" I say," You're a fucking prick." He gave me a confused look and then figured it out," okay you little bitch." The shapeshifter changed into who I really wish it wasn't." No." "Yes and my dear you are coming with me." "ELIIIIIII." I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. "MOMMMMM, ELIII." Eli walks in and says," Steven." The pack leader says," hello Eli I see you have taken my mate." I begin to cry. I grab onto the cross and I whisper," Daddy help." I didn't expect that to work, but it did.

There was a little glow of a light, I crawl to Eli and Mom. Eli asks," what the hell is that." I say," dad." Mom's eyes go wide. Eli gets up and punches Steven the pack leader in the face, Steven falls out of the window and pulls Eli with him. "NO." I run to the window, but mom pulls me, I don't see anyone, but Steven's lifeless body on the ground. I run downstairs and out of the back door. "Eli." "Eli." "Eli." "Amber." I sigh when I see Eli running to me. I smile and he hugs me, I say," don't scare me like that." He laughs and says," when you turn 1800 you will be able to turn into a bat." I smile and hug him tighter. We go back inside and we go to bed. "Eli?" "Yes." I look into his grey eyes, he gives me a concerned look. I glance at his lips and then kiss him. He kisses back and we break apart," don't leave my side again." "I won't."
