For the first time in her very long life, Natalia felt grief.

The Leviathan experienced many emotions before, unlike her siblings. But the feeling of grief was unbearable.

The strange thing was, she knew Castiel was going to be okay. But why did she feel a heavy pressure on her heart?

Of course she cared for her friend, but to this extent was bizarre. Natalia did not like the Seraph in a romantic way. She liked him as a friend, but damn, why did it hurt so much?

They were back in the mountain now. The woman dragged him back there, laying him on her bed and tending to his wounds. Seeing him with blood all over his vessel and being unresponsive, it hurt Natalia.
Mentally, of course.

The Angel was still not awake, but his wounds were starting to heal. The cloth she put on him wouldn't do much, not until he was awake and could do the healing himself.

For the next few hours, as creeping as it sounds, she stared at him. The Seraphs's face was relaxed, the lines of worry were nonexistent. His bright sapphire eyes were closed, and Natalia suddenly realized how much she missed them.

His face was scruffy, his normally shaven face started to grow a beard. She thought he would look funny in a full grown one.

Castiel was a peculiar creature, and she hoped that if they ever got out one day, she could meet his friends and they could actually start to bond more.

Hesitantly, Natalia shakily reached her hand out and touched his dark hair. In the dark lighting, his hair looked black. But in the light, she knew it was a dark brown. His short hair was soft, the softest thing the woman had ever felt in the rough environment. Natalia hummed an unknown melody**
while stroking his hair, thinking of how awkward it would be if he woke up to this.

When Natalia corrected herself. A pain look crossed the Leviathan's face as she thought about Castiel possibly dying in Purgatory. Her eyes filled with tears, but she held them at bay. "I can't lose you," she said in a melancholy tone.

The duo only knew each other for a short period of time, but it felt so much longer. In all her lifetime, Natalia never felt this close to someone before.
Well, there was-

Castiel stirring into existence brought the girl out of her train of thought. Once his bright blue eyes opened, she let out a sigh of relief. He was going to be okay.

"Hey, Cas," Natalia said softly.

"Talia."

The leviathan sniffed and wiped her nose. After clearing her throat, trying to get rid of the lump that was suddenly there, she spoke again. "You were attacked badly in the fight, but I'm afraid you'll live."
