RWBY: Erebus.

Chapter 9.

I walk towards the old Vale building. "Everything has gone shit." I say to nothing but empty air. I open the door and a dove flies past me. I walk into my old safehouse. I look around and try to find the stash. I finally find a large metal crate. The lock was still on it so maybe it was still safe. I open up the box and pull out something wrapped in heavy cloth. I tighten the wrapping on the cloth and head back to the airship that brought me here. I get on it and tell the pilot to head out. I take a small nap one the way. I wake up thirty minutes away from the safe house. I thank the pilot as soon as we gorlt there and get off. I walk into the safe house and set the cloth on the table. "Oh goodies!" Piper yells. I smile at her. I yell at everyone to get to the table. As soon as everyone was in position I opened the bundle of cloth. Inside was one of my best weapons. A katana with deep black blade. "It's been with me for a while, took it off my 100th kill, so it's my tenth trophy, he was a huntsman with a bad reputation, he'll of a fight though, he was good, but he wasn't prepared to fight someone like me." I noticed I was droning on. "The name of the weapon is Lonely night." Qrow looks at me and claps. "You actually took down Azure Gwyn, that's inpressive." Qrow took a sip of his booze. I pick up the blade and pull out 'Clockwork'. I push a putt on and 'Clockwork' opens up like a sheath. I put Lonely night into 'Clockwork' and press the button again. The weapon was broken down and absorbed by 'Clockwork'. The kid's look in awe as 'Clockwork' takes on a black hue. "It gained the abilities of the other weapon, that's one of the things that makes 'Clockwork' special." Qrow explains for me. "What's the other thing?" Ruby asked soon after. I pick up the weapon. I hold it out for Ruby. She grabs the handle and lifts it. At first it was heavy for her but suddenly the weapon glowed brightly. When the light stopped shining a Scythe was sitting in Ruby's hand. "Now follow me outside, I'll show what else the blade can do." I turn and walk outside. Everyone followed me outside. "Okay Ruby, activate your semblance, but build up the energy before going." She does as I say, a Mach cone formed around her as the energy built up. I nod and she rushes forward. She was suddenly 500 meters away. A tree shattered. She rushed back. "It amplifies any semblance 100 fold." I explain. "What would that mean for me?" Yang asks. Ruby tosses the weapon to Yang. The weapon glows brightly and runs into dual gauntlets. "Practice time." I say as soon as yang puts the weapons on. Qrow looks at me with a look of known horror. I rush at Yang and land a hit on her chest, sending her flying. I see a tree erupt in flame. Yang gets back up and rushes toward me with her body covered in golden flame. Yang got close to me, I put two fingers on her forehead. The flame disappears and she calms down. "Neat trick." Qrow commented. I take 'Clockwork' back. "What happens with your semblance, Erebus?" Weiss asks. I transform 'Clockwork' into a spear. I activate my semblance. "Nothing has changed." Yang remark. "Wait there's no wind, or sound." Weiss observes carefully. I deactivate my semblance and collapse onto the ground. "I'm fine, my legs are just weak." I say as stand back up. I wipe sweat off my brow. "Alright, I need to, I need to, oh my." I fall down into the soft grass.
"He's been asleep for three days now, what do we do?" I hear Ruby's voice distantly. I open my eyes but all I see is darkness expanding infinitely. I hear another voice deeper, male, familar. "It's going to be fine, Ruby, I'll get him awake, and if I can't, well I'll wake him up." I tried to remember who belonged to that voice. I stopped. I hear more voices, barely whispers. "It's been a week, maybe we should take him to the hospital." Ruby's voice was sad. "He'll be fine." Qrow sounded optimistic. I fight against the darkness. I jerk forward, causing Piper to scream. "Sorry, how long?" I ask yawning. "Three weeks." Qrow answers. I get up, grab 'Clockwork' and head out the door. "Where are you going?!" They all ask me. "Cinder must fall, or I die, that's the two options here!" I yell. I run fast. I get to the airship. I power it up and fly it to the last place I saw Cinder.
I land the airship and see Cinder walking with Emerald or Mercury
"I'm not here to chat, Emerald, Mercury, get the hell out of Dodge, I need to settle this with Cinder!" My voice carried even over the engine of the old airship. Emerald and Mercury hijack the airship as soon as I get off. I pull out 'Clockwork', press one of its buttons and it becomes a circular shield and a short sword. "You will pay for what you've done, to Pyrha, to Everyone!" I rush forward and lunge at Cinder. She was ready and knocked me away. She makes two swords out of glass and stands ready for my next attack. I hear the distinct sound of Ruby's sniper and I stand still as the bullet flies past my cheek, hitting Cinder in the chest. Cinder was knock down. I rush and lunge while she's on the ground. I pin her down with the sword at her throat. "You idiot, I thought you would see sense, but can you not get that image of me out of your head?" Cinder asks desperately. "I forgot about you Cinder, I and do see sense, this war of your's is pointless, what was it to achieve?" I ask her leaning in. "Peace." That word was laced with sadness as she stabbed me in the heart with the blade she had in her hand. I stumble away, the sword still in my chest. I collapsed on the ground moving myself so that I could see the sky. It was night. Ruby run up and knelt beside me. "Such beauty, the stars are beautiful." I say to her. She had tears in her eyes. For once, I felt at peace. I knew Ruby and the rest could defeat what ever was thrown at them. I close my eyes, I felt Ruby shaking me, telling me to wake up. I heard Weiss consoling her. Yang's shout was hard to miss, she yell at Cinder, telling her she was a dead woman. Blake was silent but I could feel her presence. Qrow simply said,"Not another one." I feel the heat escape my body and I stop breathing.
I wake up and I saw Beacon. It was restored and there were students. Ruby stepped out the the front door smiling and walked through me. I was truly a ghost. I watched as a strange light floated to me. I touched it and found myself at a train station, everything here is pure white. I see Ozpin and Pyrha sitting on a bench talking. "Hello." I say as soon as I walk up to them. They smile and greet me. They have me sit in between them. We talk for what seemed years until a train pulled up and stopped. I walk with them up to the train and don't board it with them. They notice and pull me aboard.
