Well... Before I start, I'm just going to say that this is only an update because my absolutely gorgeous best friend on here -_Yana_-  asked me to write a chapter for her birthday. So who would I be to deny that to such a good friend?

Happy Birthday Yana, you're the best.

As I entered the Ring of Doom for the second time that day, I felt the eyes of the Valar trained on my every move, observing and judging my every move. It was like they were inwardly criticising every single breath I dared to take. Suddenly, I didn't feel as confident as I usually did. Normally I would openly speak my mind about how much I hated these people, but now, I wouldn't dare say a wrong word.

Vairë led me to the centre of The Ring where there was a small platform of carved stone that seemed to be a place where one would make a speech to the rest of the Valar. The silence was painful and I wish someone would just break the silence instead of giving the horrid task to me.

Once I stood in the middle, Varda gave me an urging look, expecting me to talk. I looked to Manwë and he nodded slowly to express his approval. Never had I ever wanted to keep my mouth shut more in my entire life than this moment, but now, silence was not an option. I cleared my throat and the sound echoed eerily through the area. There was a long pause between the throat clearing and finally coming up with something to say to these Gods.

'I know that maybe some of you now remember me, but I don't exactly care, because I don't even know who the person you remember is,' I said cautiously. Silence. 'But I guess since I'm carrying Nessa's power, I'm now one of you again.' Still more silence. What more was there to say? I wracked my brain for anything, just anything to say. 'You want me to protect you, right?' Many of the Valar nodded. Finally, an acknowledgement.

'Well I'm not going to protect you,' I stated clearly.

'What?!' I heard Tulkas shout angrily.

'That's right,' I continued, regaining my once lost confidence. 'I'm not going to protect you.'

'All hope is lost,' Nienna wailed, burying her face in her hands, letting a sea of shining silver tears pour fourth.

'What is the meaning of this?' Manwë commanded.

'She must be with him!' Vána shrieked.

The whole Ring erupted into a thunderstorm of voices and stamping from angry Valar. Almost everyone was shouting at me and one another, Tulkas even stepped forward, appearing as if to strike me, only to be stopped by Estë. Varda seemed to be attempting to defend herself from accusations and Manwë was trying to quieter everyone to no avail.

'EVERY ONE, SHUT THE HELL UP!' I screamed at the top of my lungs. All of the Valar simultaneously froze and turned their heads to me. Each of them had either disgust, shock or curiosity etched into their faces.

'Excuse you, you have not right to speak to us in that way,' Vairë sneered.

'I have every right to speak to you in whichever way I please, but that doesn't matter right now because we have more pressing issues at hand,' I returned bitterly. 'I don't care what you think of me, just hear me out before you start bickering again like little children. I'm not going to protect you because there are better things I could be doing than staying here watching over you people do absolutely nothing to help with the world's problems. Instead I can go out and try and stop everyone from dying, because Sauron is rising again and apparently none of you even care enough to do something about it,' I concluded, once again, stunning these sensitive creatures into silence.
