A True Love (Yami X Yugi)

Yami pov

"Bakura let him go!" I shouted while staring into the face of pure evil. In the corner of my eye, I could see Yugi restrained with chains duct tape covering his mouth.

Yugi pov

I felt completely numb. My eyelids were heavy preventing me from seeing anything. I could only hear someone shouting. I recognized that voice. It belonged to Yami, but I couldn't understand what he was saying.

As my hearing slowly returned, I heard Bakura begin to laugh. His laughter was then cut off by Yami shouting,

"Leave my love alone!"

His love? I never knew Yami felt that way about me. Sure we were close friends and all but I never knew our feeling were mutual. Bakura started laughing once again as he said,

"Your love will never love you back pharaoh! Although I now know how to get you to do what I want. I simply have to harm your love."

I felt my heart begin to pound as the weight on my eyelids had been suddenly lifted. As soon as I started opening my eyes, I could see Bakura approaching me yet everything was still a blur. Just then, I realized I was tied in a chair which had wires connected to a machine as well as a red lever. No! No! This can't be happening. Bakura walked up to the machine and pulled down the lever without any hesitation. Pain. Pain was all I could feel at this point for there was electricity being shot through my body all at once. A few seconds now felt like hours with this cursed machine turned on. After what seemed like an eternity, everything was a complete blur yet I could feel the duct tape being gently pulled off my mouth. I began to pant heavily, as Bakura calmly yet excitedly started to say,

"Now pharaoh, you have the choice to do as you are told or your dear Yugi will have to pay the price only this time, with a tad more power."

Yami pov

I watched in horror as the one I love so dearly was being hurt. Guilt struck me for I knew the source of Yugi's pain was none other than me. Deep down, I knew I would have to come to a decision soon. Bakura finally turned off the machine to then turn and face me. As he did so, I felt rage start to take over me. I walked towards Yugi and gently pulled off the duct tape to allow him to breath properly. I then walked back to Bakura as he began to say calmly yet excitedly,

"Now pharaoh, you have the choice to do as you are told or your dear Yugi will have to pay the price only this time, with a tad more power."

What should I do? Do I let this devil take Yugi for himself or take the unbearable risk of losing my Yugi forever as Bakura continues to hurts the one I love?
