The gang decided to have the rest of the week off of school to rest up and get used to being vampires, also it takes a week for them to be able to transform from vampire to human and vice versa, and the last thing they needed was for people to know they are vampires now.
It was Yugi's birthday tomorrow and Yami was out making sure to get the perfect gift for his aibou.
The others were getting on planning the surprise party, but of course Yugi needed to be out of the way while they planned it so he was at Ryou's for the day for what he thought was a tutoring session. Little did he know that it was just a distraction but it was helpful to him so it wasn't a complete waste of time for Ryou and Yugi.
In kaiba's mansion the rest of the gang was getting the party room set up for Yugi's surprise birthday party. They took it in turns to go out and buy presents and the things needed to make it the best 17th birthday ever.
