Ch.7: Damn Daniel

Dan's POV
Dark got a good look at my arms and smirked.
"Never thought I'd see an Elemental go through a concrete wall."
"Did you forget I'm also half Vampire?" I asked and he chuckled.
"So technically doesn't that make you a Hybrid as well?"
"I guess it would but everyone just calls me the Elemental."
"Ah... Look this is gonna sting. A lot." He said pressing his hands against my arm and I hissed in pain. Suddenly it felt like fire was running through my veins I let out of cry of agony as I watched my skin heal it's self.
"Just a couple more seconds and then you'll be fine." He said as I let out another cry.
"Jesus Christ-" I hissed as my arms were finally healed. The pain didn't seem to stop though. It felt like fire was burning through the new skin from inside. I let out another cry of pain as Dark's eye brows furred.
"You'd think they'd be more accepting of me since I just healed your arms."
"Who the hell are you talking about?" I asked angrily as Dark looked around.
"The Elements, can't you hear them?"
"No, I really can't, fuck," I said as I stood up and my anger flared a bit for no reason.
"You're trying to make me turn against everyone aren't you?" I asked as flames appeared beside me.
"Dan, calm down, I'm not trying to do anything but help you bring back Phil."
"You're a liar." I growled and the flames grew.
"If I was a liar why would I have healed your arms and brought you to the place where you can bring back your lover?"
"You brought me here to turn me against them."
"Dan, you're letting your elements handle your emotions. It's making you irrational."
"Fuck you, I'm not doing shit." I growled at him and he laughed darkly.
"I don't think you want to fight me Daniel." He said coolly and pieces of rubble rose from their places.
"Test me bitch." I growled and that must have pissed off because his eyes grew darker and a dark smoke seemed to radiate from him.
"You'll regret this." He muttered and raced at me as the rubble flew at him. Some pieces hit him others were avoided by him and he hit me full force and I flew back to the ground. He gripped my neck tightly and picked me up.
"You're still as pathetic as when you were in Purgatory." His voice seemed to have changed into three different versions each a bit deeper than the last.
"You fucking wish." I said and pressure pointed his wrist. He cried out in pain and let go.
"Smart ass," he growled and punched my jaw hard. I wiped my lip and hit him in the chest with a fairly large piece of rubble.
"You have no strength." He said griping my shirt collar, "You have no will," he threw me into the rubble and picked me back up again, "You have no purpose you soulless," he shoved me against a wall, "pathetic," he began to choke me, "weak, poor excuse for an Elemental." He then slammed me against the wall and pain screamed through my body as he threw me back through the hole I created and against a tree. I groaned and began getting up as he walked over.
"Is that all you got?" I asked as I started coughing and embers slowly started to fill the air.
"Not even close." He said as flames erupted around us and rubble rose behind him.
"You stepping up your game, Dan?"
"Some would say that... Some would also say I'm grieving."
"Well Daniel, let's dance." The earth he was standing on quickly rose and fell back to the ground causing him to fall.
"You fucking bitch," he growled as the rubble quickly began to hold him in place.
"You know something Dark." I growled and he grunted as the rubble began to crush him, "People like you are the reason I love Phil so much. People like you want to destroy him and his beauty rather than bring him back." I said and he shook his head.
"I can bring Phil back. All I need to do is say a few words and use one of your memories of him to bring him back." He said and I wanted so badly to let him up right then.
"How can I trust you?" I asked and he groaned from the rubble and I began to bring it up a bit.
"Look I'll bring a flower to life right now to prove it to you." He said looking to the grass beside his head and a rose sprouted from the ground. I walked over to it and like I was called by some unnatural force I reached out for the flower. Dan, don't touch it. I felt it's soft smooth petals beneath my finger tips. Dan, please don't touch the rose! Some force beyond me though beckoned me to pick this rose. My hand gently went down to the stem of the flower and as I grabbed it a thorn pricked my hand. I hissed in pain as I quickly drew my hand back. Dark started laughing as I rubbed my hand with my thumb.
"You idiot! Now I can be ruler of this world!" He laughed evilly as my head began to pound with pain.
"Those stupid elements can't save you now it's already taking affect!" Everything began to spin and I decided it might be best to get away from him so getting up I quickly began walking into the woods away from his laughter. My vision blurred but I pushed my self to keep going.
"I'm so sorry Phil," I said and almost as if he was there beside me I knew he had forgiven me. I hissed in pain as my brain seemed to pulse with pressure and pain. I pushed my self through the trees as it became harder to breathe and everything seemed to be getting more blurry.
"No, please not now." I begged to any force that would hear me as I gripped a tree for balance.
"I need to save... I need to save Phil." I said as my breath began to be lost and I fell to my knees.
"Let-le- let me save him." I begged as my breath suddenly came back and everything became balanced.
"How do you feel Daniel?" Dark asked me, and I smirked.
"I feel alive."
