Ch.20: Fading

Phil's POV
A flash brightened the room like nothing I had ever seen before and I looked back to see both Pj and Chris on the ground and Dan checking for a pulse on PJ.
"Dan! What did you do?" I yelled running over and checking on PJ and Chris.
"Pj killed Chris and asked me to cry on him and then the light happened and I don't understand what's going on!" He sounded like he was losing his mind.
"Dan calm down." He looked at me and it was like two forces were fighting in his head.
"Kill him Dan!" Dark yelled from across the room and I looked at Dan and he stood but not like you would if you were angry or planing to hurt someone.
"Phil, I don't understand." He said to me and I stood up.
"What do you not understand?"
"I had this dream like thing and people were taking you away from me, and I remember feeling so hurt and alone." I frowned, was this the only thing he remembered about me? The day I was kidnapped by the vampires?
"Dan, I didn't expect you to understand before but you saw what happened with PJ and Chris. It's almost the same as us except... Well, we cared for each other more deeply than Dark could ever understand." I said to him and Dan held his head.
"Dark had a little voice in my head, and the other one is someone else's voice. They argue a lot." He said and I stepped closer to him.
"Let me help you Dan," I said and he looked into my eyes almost as if he was searching for my soul.
"Ok...." He said softly and I smiled, grabbing his hands and pulling them away from his face. A look of confusion took over.
"You have blood on your lip again," I said and his confusion seemed to deepen and I gently pressed my lips to his and it had to be the most intoxicating kiss we ever had. If his lips left mine I was certain I would die. He kissed me back and it was like a spark ignited and our kiss was on fire. I pulled him closer to me and I heard a few  hisses around us but I could care less. This was the first time I had Dan's lips on my own since before we fought Felix. I gently placed my hand on his cheek and we gently pulled away.
"Phil," he said softly and I knew he was back. My Dan was back.
"Yes," I said and he shook his head looking me up and down.
"Never leave me again you spork." He said and I couldn't help but laugh as I hugged him. He hugged me tightly but unfortunately this battle wasn't over yet.
"You may have taken Dan but I still have enough people with out him to beat you." Dark growled and I heard a laugh from Anti as I turned to look at them both.
"Really Dark, are you sure? Because it looks to me that your powers are wearing thin." He said gesturing to the few left standing. They were swaying and they didn't seem as Dark. Dan really did have quite the impact on Dark's Army.
"Anti, you still can't beat me."
"Maybe not," Connor said
"But we can." Troye followed as they stood next to Anti. I walked up and stood next to Anti as well.
"You have no idea what you're up against Dark." I said and Dan stood beside of me.
"We aren't scared of someone as pathetic as you." Dan said and I could see the fear in his eyes. He realized he was losing.
"I'll be back," Dark growled but before he could take off Anti used something that reminded me of the force but with light on him.
"You're not going any where." Anti said dragging Dark back in, "You know Dark, both of us know that these curse things, they don't last, and the bad guy," he said lifting Dark as the light began to change his being, "never wins." He finished and Dark screamed as light tore through his body and an awful crackling and screech like noise sounded. We all covered our ears except Anti who just seemed to be watching his lover go through all this pain. Dark dropped after a moment and it was quite obvious that he was dying. Anti walked over to him and picked him up into his arms.
"Hehe... We switched places this time."
"Yeah, last time I was dying." Anti said softly.
"...For the rest of eternity Jack, just like you promised me. An eternity together..." Dark said and I saw something shinning on Anti's cheek. He looked up to me. Anti was crying. Truly crying. They started fading.
"Thank you Phil, and take care of Phil for me Dan, he's quite an amazing person." Anti said and I smiled.
"Say hello to Angeline for me," I said and he smiled nodding as they faded out of existence and the room grew bright.
"Is it over?" Dan asked me and I looked at him. I looked back at him and around the room.
"You know Dan, I don't think our battles will ever end, but with you by my side... There's nothing we can't do." He smiled at me and Connor and Troye were helping people that were starting to wake up and were dazed.
"I suppose we should help them." Dan muttered and I looked at him and he looked back at me.
"We have an entire eternity to spend helping people. Right now I want nothing more than to talk to you. Look at you, and hold you in my arms until I can no longer breathe." I said and he smiled pulling me closer to him and he glanced from my eyes to my lips and back again.
"Or we can do something much more fun..." Dan whispered and I smiled and then a ball of water hit my face.
"TAG YOU'RE IT!" He screamed and took off.
"OH YOU'RE ON HOWELL!" I screamed as I raced after him.

The world may throw obstacles to separate us, but I will always find my way back to him.

~Awe so sweet... Lol any who the next five chapters will be up as soon as I can write them, this how ever is the official end of all the drama. These next few chapters like I said will just be Dan and Phil and life as a Hybrid and Elemental. It will be sweet and adorable and will make butterflies appear in your stomach so be prepared for when those start up! Finally,
