The Elemental {Completed}

Ch.3: Dan

Dan's POV
I sat there book in hand, reading. I mean if I'm stuck here I might as well do something productive. It was an Elemental book I had found laying on the table.
Elementals often find it harder to learn to control some elements if they were born attached to an Element. However if their Mates are in extreme danger they make pick up their problem element to help save their mate. Huh.... Well that makes a lot of sense considering what happened to.... No. I promised.
A bang sounded from the door.
"Dan?" A familiar voice sounded.
"HELP PLEASE IM-" I yelled but was cut off.
"Now we wouldn't want our guest to reveal our little hiding spot now would we?" Jordan said roughly covering my mouth with his hand and I nodded feverishly. How did he get back in?
"I'm going to answer the door. You go over to the bed and underneath is a trap door. Go down in there and stay until they are gone. Do you understand," he said and I nodded and he pushed me toward the bed. I did as he asked and slipped into the trap door. I didn't go down into the dark abyss though I listened intensely.
"Hello Jordan," the familiar voice said coolly.
"Troye and Connor! What a treat! It's lovely to see you both!"
"Where's Dan?"
"Last I saw him he ran off into the woods." He said lowly as footsteps entered the cabin.
"According to my nose his scent is all over this cabin." A new voice I could only assume was Troye said.
"He hasn't been here. It may just be because I met him in the woods." He lied through his teeth as feet drew near to the bed.
"Is that so," Connor said and I saw a hand past over one of the cracks in the wood.
"Yes, Troye, it's rude to snoop." Jordan said sharply.
"Sorry," Troye said standing, "thought I dropped my necklace. Guess not." He said quickly and walked away from the bed.
"Well if you two don't have any other business here please head out. I have much to do."
"Of course and if you see Dan let us know." Connor said and the door was shut. Foot steps trailed over to the bed. Then I heard a click.
"I'm keeping you down there until I know they're not coming back." He said I pushed on the door hard but it wouldn't budge.
"Jordan! Let me out!" I said banging roughly on the door.
"Sorry, not sorry Dan, see you in a bit," he said as the door shut and I was alone. I took a breath as I stepped down the latter and began to feel around for a light switch. I hit the lights to reveal an empty basement.

Connors POV
Troye and I waited for a few minutes before Jordan left and then waited awhile to see if he was coming back.
Troye, you head in first and find Dan. I'll keep an eye out for Jordan. Once you find him get back out here, and we'll all head for the New thingy.
We still need a name for it. I laughed silently as he headed over to the cabin and quickly entered. Now where is Jordan....

Troye's POV
I walked in and headed straight for the bed in the corner. I moved it and saw the trap door. It was locked.
"Dan, hey, it's Troye I've come to get you out." I said unlocking the door.
"Troye! You need to get out of here! Jordan can come back at any moment."
"We aren't leaving with out you come on." I said opening the hatch. He climbed out and stood beside me.
"Shut it and slide the bed back in place! Quick!" He said and we did racing to get out of here.
"Alright let's go," I said turning toward the door.
"Troye, I can't the cuffs." He said and I turned and looked down to see electrical cuffs on his ankles.
"Ok hold on I'll ask Connor if he has a spell." I said and headed around the drawers searching for a fork. Connor, Jordan is keep Dan here with electrical cuffs. Do you think you know a spell to get them off? Yeah I'll be in, in a moment.
I waited as I found what I was looking for and walked over to Dan.
"Sit down, I'm gonna try to short the circuit." He sat down and I looked at the cuffs on his ankle.
"The hell is this sh-" the door opened and I turned to see Jordan. Shit. Don't come Connor.
"Dan I told you-"
"Jordan-" Dan started but was cut off by a door slam.
"I told you to leave." He said sharply and I stood up.
"I wasn't leaving without my friend." I said and he locked eyes with me and his eyes were a pure gold.
"Leave Troye," he said and I shook my head.
"Fine, if that's how it's gonna be." He said softly he backed up out of the house and pops sounded. He was transforming into a Wolf. Might as well make this a good fight. I took a deep breath and tried to remember what the moon phase was. Soon enough I began to change too.
"No! Jordan! Don't fight him!" Dan yelled as we now stood nose to nose outside the cabin. Nothing but our growls answered him.
"Troye, don't do this!" He begged but everything quickly became silence as Jordan and I stared at each other daring the other to make the first move. Barking, nipping the air, hair standing and growling. Neither of us wanted to go first.
"TROYE RUN!" Connor screamed from somewhere near by. I wasn't backing down. I saw Jordan shoot a glance towards the cabin and I took the chance to jump him. I pinned him to the ground and bit into his throat and started to shake and tear as he howled out in pain.
"Run Dan!" I heard Connor yell behind me. Jump off him I'm going to hit him with the spell Mariza used. I let go of him and raced back as vines and roots because to hold him down. He howled and cried out as they pinned him down and we ran like mad men away from the area. I changed back and Connor tossed me some jeans.
"Put those on. Not everyone needs to see your pride but me."

~ I love my writing sometimes because I'll go back through stuff and read it when I'm tired and it's instantly ten times funnier to me. But anyways...
