Originally the book wasn't suppose to end like it did. Anti and Dark were never suppose to be in these books at all. I got the idea while I was sitting on Vine, and I had this idea of a struggle Dan was having with Demons, and the only demon that really came to mind that would make an impact was Dark... Well you can't have evil with out good so that brought in Anti. I know Anti is usually an Evil character but it made sense to me to bring him in to kind of battle Dark, through Phil and eventually Dan.
Originally I was going to bring in Pentatonix as the Classic Republic but that story line never really went any where so it just kind of died within the first book. With like hints of them here and there. Over all I still don't regret going the way I went with the story. I think it ended well and even though those five chapters afterward didnt come out I still think it ended well and it helped lead to Remember Me and Enjoy the ride because I didn't want to stop writing about Mark, Jack, or Felix and even though Enjoy the Ride is almost over I'm still getting more ideas... It's insane... Before I came to wattpad just to read and now I'm writing all the time, and I'm getting feed back and people like what I'm doing and it's so different from what I'm used too. It's like a dream in all honesty and I can't explain how awesome it is. To just write is amazing but when people come back and tell you that they love your plot line or they love your characters and how you have them interact or they love how they are projected in a story... It's something awesome. I'm so happy to be doing this and I hope one day I will have a book published that you can pick up any where in the world and read it.
