I arrive home at just gone past 4 I walk into the living room to Justin sleeping on Nadine’s lap
“awww my baby” I say
“he fell asleep after we made a chocolate cake” Nadine smiles
“oh yummy” I smile I sit next to Nadine and start stroking my boys hair
“how was Cheryl?” she asks
“she is fine she told me about who she lost 4 years ago” I say with a sad smile
“oh who was it?” Nadine raises an eyebrow
“it was her sister, I saw a picture she was absolutely beautiful Nadz” I say
“awww I bet she was really upset” Nadine says
“I think she still is” I say looking at my little boy sleeping
“we should wake him soon for his dinner” I say picking him up and holding I stroke down his nose softly and he starts to stir
“hey baby wake up sweetheart” I smile
“mummy?” he says sleepily
“yes hun?”
“we made you a cake” he smiles
“Aww I know and thank you” I kiss him on the cheek and carry him through to the kitchen I grab his little plastic bottle and fill it was juice and I pass it to him I know he will want a drink he always does if he sleeps during the day he drinks the juice and passes me back the cup
“thank you mummy” I smiles I pick him up and carry him to the living room I sit him down on the sofa so he is in the middle of me and Nadine
“are you okay babes?” I ask Nadine
“yeah I’m okay I’ve eaten loads of ice cream it helped and this little man was making me laugh through the day so I was fine” she smiles
“awww was you cheering Auntie Nadine up?” I ask Justin
“yeah I don’t like her being sad” he says looking up at Nadine and then to me
“you’re a good boy aren’t you?” I say pinching his cheek
“yeah I’m mummy’s good boy” he smiles
“yeah” I smile
“are you going to see Cheryl again?” Nadine asks
“yeah I told her to come here for a coffee plus I know little man wants to see her” I say
“is the pretty lady coming round?” Justin asks
“maybe in the next few days” I say to him, he stays quite for a awhile before turning his head to look at me
“will she be my friend?” he asks
“of course she will baby” I say hugging him
“yay I want her to be my friend” he smile
“right little man you want some food” Nadine says Justin nods his head
“okay lets get cooking Kimba” she says getting up from her seat I follow her in the kitchen and we start to cook dinner
Its Justin’s bed time now and I’m putting him to bed when he asks me a question
“mummy? Why did daddy leave did he not want to see me?”
“awww baby boy he didn’t choose to leave and he wanted to meet you very much and remember he loves you loads” I say hugging him tightly
“okay mummy” he says and puts his thumb in his mouth I pass him flops and he hugs him with his other arm I kiss him on the head
“night, night my baby sweet dreams” I say and I walk out of the room I walk into my bed room and get changed for bed when I’m ready I go downstairs to see Nadine glued to her phone
“who loves you?” I ask passing her
“it was Jason he said I can go over there tomorrow and pick my stuff up” she says
“aww babes I’m sorry do you want me and come with you?” I ask
“if you wouldn’t mind please” she says
“of course babes” I smile I get a glass of water and head upstairs, I lay on my bed and look at my phone I have one message I open it, its from Cheryl
Hey babes you okay? I had a nice time today hope we can do it again soon

I smile at her text I start to write a reply back
Hey babes yeah I’m okay you? I had a nice time too why don’t you come round tomorrow? X

I tell her my address and tell her I’m going to sleep, I put my phone on my bedside table and I drift into a peaceful sleep.
