“So does this mean you’ll give me a chance?” he asked with a smile.

“What do you think?” I asked with a smile.

He smiled and hugged me. “I promise you I won’t hurt you or screw things up” he said.

I just smiled. He was being really sweet and not like the jerk Kelly had said he was.

“I better go now, you have to sleep, I’ll call you tomorrow” he said.

“Ok”  

“Good night” he said as he leaned down to kiss me.

“Good night” I answered. When he left I still couldn’t believe what had just happened. After I locked the door my phone started ringing.

“Hey” I answered

“OH MY GOD!! Guess what” said Tania in her happy-screaming voice.

“What is it?” I asked rolling my eyes that girl would never understand not to scream.

“Nick and I are going to hang out tomorrow!”

“Well he is cute and you two make an awesome couple” I answered with a smile. I was really happy for her.

“I still can’t believe it out of all the people, I would have never thought that Nick would want to hang out with me”

“What are you guys doing?” I asked as I turned off the lights and walked to my room.

“I don’t know maybe just a movie or the mall” she answered.

“At least it’s something and you get to see him”

“Yeah, so anyway how did things go with Chad?”

“It’s went good he just left right after you called”

“What was he doing there at this time?” she asked.

“We had coffee we talked for a little bit and then he left” I didn’t want to tell Tania about the other stuff. It isn’t that I don’t trust her; it’s just that I don’t want to make a big deal out a kiss.

“Oh ok, well I better go, thank you for an awesome birthday, I really LOVED it”

“You welcome and I’m glad you had an awesome time”

“Good night” she said

“Good night, talk to you later” I got ready to go to sleep but I couldn’t sleep. I kept remembering the kiss. It happened so fast I wasn’t expecting it. I’m not saying he’s a bad kisser, I’m just little scared. Every time I see him or I’m near him I get butterflies in my stomach. It’s something I haven’t felt for anyone else before. After a long time thinking I finally fall asleep.

I woke up around nine; I got up and cleaned the house. It was a big house but we always try to keep it as clean as we can. When I was tired from cleaning I went to my room and started working on some homework. The house was very quite so when my phone rang it scared me and made me jump.

“Hey” I said with a smile.

“Hi, good morning” answered Chad.

“Good morning, what’s up?” I asked.

“Nothing, I was just couldn’t wait to hear your voice”

“Really” I asked joking

“Really and I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to my little cousins birthday today?”
