Chapter 12
ANDY’S POV
I got home and walked to my room. He was going to be a dad. I was sad and I just wanted to get my mind off things. I knew it was wrong of me to just leave like that without saying a word to anyone, but I knew I had no business to do there. I know it isn’t the baby’s fault of what was going on, but still I felt angry and sad. A tear rolled down my check.
“How could you be so stupid” I said to myself I wiped the tears away. I got my brushes and finished up the painting. I put my headphones on and blasted the music. When I was finished with that one I got a new canvas bored. I decided to take my angry out on it and started throwing the paint at it. When I was done screaming at it and crying I wiped my face. I didn’t care that I had paint on my face and my clothes. I looked at the painting. It reminded me of a rainbow. It had all the colors of the rainbow. I put it aside; I would throw it away later. I felt my phone vibrate, someone was calling me. I looked at it and it was Chad. I ignored it and got a new canvas ready. I had no idea what I wanted to paint. Since the money was going to be used for Autistic kids. I was going to paint faces of little kids with the logo in the middle. I got in a new plate to mix my paints. This time I was only going to use
black and white and blue for the puzzle piece. I was just finishing one of the little kids face when I thought I heard the doorbell ring. I got up and walked downstairs.
“I’m coming” I said, I still couldn’t go down the stairs as fast.
Without looking who it was, I opened the door, it was Chad.
“Please listen to me” he said.
“What do you want?” I asked in a calm voice
“You’ve been crying” he said as he stepped closer and touched my check with his hand. I carefully moved away.
“What do you want?” I asked again.
“If it’s about what you heard, she’s lying.” He said.
“How are you so sure, you don’t remember what happened” I said. “And right now that baby needs you, having a crazy mom like her can suck” I said forcing a smile.
“I will be there, but that doesn’t mean, me and Victoria are going to get married. I don’t want anything to do with her”
“But that baby ties you guys together, it’s not the baby’s fault”
“I know which I why I’m willing to help her out in whatever she needs just for the baby, not because of her”
“You’re doing the right thing” I said with a smile.
“But that doesn’t mean you and I can’t be together. I love you”
“I love you too but right now that doesn’t matter. Victoria is going to think something else and what if she does something to the baby. I rather she do something to me and not hurt the baby” I said as I moved from the door so he could come in.
“But what about us?” he asked as he came in.
“That doesn’t matter anymore; you’ll be with Victoria, just like she said you would” I said as I walked to sit down.
“But we can make it work” he said as he sat down next to me.
“You know what she said to me yesterday when I wore your jersey?”
“What?” he asked in a worried tone.
“She told me she would make sure next time something worse would happen and not just a broken foot”
