Chapter 14

I walked around the arena trying to make me forget about earlier and everything else. It was not working so I decided to go back inside. When I came back in I was hit with a warm breeze. It was pretty cold outside so the warmth was much appreciated. As I walked down the hallway, Charles was leaning against the wall on the phone with someone. I rolled my eyes and walked past him. I was still mad at him and did not want to talk to him.

"Hey Jessa," I heard him say.

I quickly turned around and sighed. He smiled and made his way over to me.

"You feeling better?"

"I guess but why would you care?"

"I am trying to be nice," he said with a frown.

"I do not need kindness so you should just stop."

Charles nodded and quickly walked off leaving me. I yawned and decided to try to take a nap maybe.

Making my way to my dressing room,I layed on the couch and pulled out my phone. I decided to call my sister since we had not talked for a while now. I dialed her number and pressed it against my ear.It rung for it for a bit and my call was denided. She did not want to talk I guess. I put my phone down on the coffee table near the couch and stared up at the white ceiling. As I started to fall asleep there was a knock on the door. I sighed and stood up then made my way over to the door.

"Who is it?" I yelled tiredly not bothering to open the door.

" It is Cameron.Can I come in?"

I opened the door and looked out at him.He was wearing sweats and no shoes,his brown hair a bit messy.

"What do you need to talk about?"

"I just want to cuddle," Cameron said a blush spreading across his cheeks.

"You should have just said that," I commented opening the door more for him.

He slowly but surely came in and sat on the couch where I had been laying before. I smiled and closed the door.

"Your spot it warm."

"I was just laying there."

I made my way over to him and sat down next to him. Cameron then grabbed my blanket that I had moved aside when I got up to open the door and covered us up.I snuggled against him and rubbed my eyes.

"We are now official cuddle buddies understood?"

"Understood," I said starting to fall asleep.

"Wait! Do not sleep yet! I want to talk first," he said poking my side making me yelp.

I quickly opened my eyes and looked up at him.Cameron was definitely the tallest of the four guys.

That was one thing I liked on a guy.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"You and Charles."

"Yeah,what about us?"

"Are you two actually a thing? I mean like a couple?" he asked looking at me.

I shrugged and looked away from him.Honestly ,I had no idea what we were. I did know that he is a complete jerk and I would not want to be with him in anyway.

"So you do not know?"

"The whole dating thing is a publicity stunt.I would never want to be with him like that to be honest," I said sighing.

"Well why don't you just tell everyone that it was a lie?"

"You know what i will.Can you pass me my phone?"

Cameron nodded and picked it up then gave it to me.I quickly opened Twitter and tweeted: "Charles and I are not actually dating.That was just for publicity."

I then put my phone back on the table smiling.Feeling a bit free from him.

"Now what about you and I? Maybe we could go out on a few dates and see how we would work out?"

"Are you asking me out?"

He nodded and started to blush again. I smiled and felt my cheeks heat up.Cameron looked at me curiously.

"So is that a yes?"

"Of course!"

A smile then spread across his face and he lightly kissed my cheek. I giggled a bit and turned away from him.

" You can sleep now.I just wanted to tell you that."

I nodded and closed my eyes still turn away from him then I laid my head on his lap. Cameron gently raised his hand and stroke my hair making me smile more than I already was. I was happy knowing that I would have to deal with Charles as much since the whole plug publicity thing was over. After about what seems like 10 minutes at least I soon fell asleep in the comfort of Cameron.

An hour later I woke up and I was alone there was a note on the table and my name was written on it. I figured that he had left for an important reason since he probably had things to do as well. I set up and grab the note then slowly read it. inside the note there was just a drawing A picnic basket. This quite confused me since usually on a note there with the words in the drawing I take this as a hint on where Cameron wanted to go for a date. A picnic site maybe ? I then stood up and made my way out of the dressing room. As I walk into the hallway Matthew was standing at the end of the hallway. He was just saying he was just standing there not even looking at anything his eyes slightly closed. I started to worry since him and I were bit close since the other night. But I decided to ignore him right now I had other things to do like it ready for the tonight's show. I quickly walked off and made my way towards my tour bus. I needed a shower or bath or something I feel dirty since I hadn't showered in about a day or so. I never got really got that dirty so I didn't it was not really a problem to bathe all the time. Getting onto the bus I made my way into the bathroom and grab my extra set of clothes. Then I turn on the shower and got in. Around 4 o'clock I finished getting ready for the show. My makeup was done in my hair I had new clothes then from earlier. I sat there waiting for the boys to finish their part of the show. Play my phone out I decided to call my sister again. It was a few times and again my call was denied. This really upset me since we were so close.

"Hey Jessa!" I heard a voice say.

I quickly turned and soul Daniel standing there by the door his head was covered in sweat since stage was hot. I smiled and waved then stood up going over to him.

" Hi Daniel, is there something I can help you with?"

" Nope I just wanted to come see you and see how you were doing."

Danny was pretty nice I wouldn't say I had feelings for him but Cameron of course. He just was not my type honestly. Although if I never got to know him I would have. Charles for sure I would never want to be with you without knowing him just the way he acts in such makes me know that he is a player and don't really care about anything. I mean honestly like at the movie theater he didn't even wait for me he just immediately went when in and left me alone. As for the whole rock star thing I wouldn't ever find him if he wants but he said he was not going to sign autographs for his fans.

"Aww! Thanks Daniel but I think I want to be alone right now. I need to think about some things. It is just really tough right now. I do not know if you would understand, "I said with sigh looking towards the ground.

He nodded and then made his way out leave me alone again. I close the door and sat back on the couch. About five minutes later the stage manager had came in and called me out. I stood up and made my way to back the backstage. He handed me my earbuds and put them in my ears. Then he gave me my microphone and I went out onto the stage hoping to forget everything but that moment.
