I had to tell him. I didn't want to, but I knew I had to. He was on his way to the hospital right now. He had just finished school so he was going to come anyways. I had to prepare myself. What if he brakes up with me? I honestly don't know what I would do. I have to push that thought out of my head or else I won't be able to tell him at all.

"Riley?" He said as he walked in. I had told him that I needed to talk yo him about something serious so he was definitely concerned. "Is something wrong? Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yes, yes, Lucas I'm fine, I'm fine." My eyes were starting to water, so I looked down at the bed, not making eye contact.

"Oh. Okay. Then what is it?"

"Um... I just needed to tell you that I... I-I..." I couldn't take it. I broke down in tears.

He came up next to me and squeezed me in his arms. "Hey, hey. You can tell me anything, you know that. Whatever it is, just know that there isn't anything that would make me not love you anymore."

"Lucas, I-I did something re-really bad." I said trying not to cry again.

"Shh, its okay. Just tell me what's bugging you."

"Okay. Just promise not to yell."

"I won't. I promise," he said before giving me a peck on the lips.

"So, um... I was kind of bored, before Maya got here, so I went out on my wheelchair to go get some lunch. Well, I got stuck on the table, and so someone decided to help me. He was alone, and so was I, so he asked if he could sit with me. I said fine, being my naive self and not thinking anything of it. We talked for a while until we finished our lunch. And then... He uh... Um... Kinda... Might've kissed me?" By this time I was sobbing again, terrified of his reaction.

"Did you uh... Kiss back?"

"No, oh my god no! I would never!"

"Then I don't see a problem here." He said giggling.

"The problem is that I was too stupid to see that he was going to think that I wanted to be with him. I'm so sorry I just didn't think that anything would happen, oh my god I'm so stupid! So stupid! I ruined everything!" I was full on balling my eyes out at this point.

What he did next really surprised me though. He hugged me. He hugged me so tightly and I never wanted him to let me go.

"Sh, don't say that Riley. You are the most amazing, smartest girl that I have ever met. I never want to hear you say that again. Okay?"

I just nodded, my head still in the crook of his neck. "Thank you." I mumbled.

"I love you."

"I love you too."
