Lucas P.O.V.
I was walking out to tell Riley's parents that she was awake. I felt like I was walking on air. I was so happy. Although, I should have realized that I was indeed in real life before I *bam*

"Ow" yup, just ran into a wall.

"Oh my god, Lucas, are you okay?" Topanga asked me. I could tell that she was holding in a laugh.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just came out here to tell you that Riley woke up." I said while holding my forehead.

"Oh my god! Cory let's go!"

Cory stumbled along as Topanga dragged him by his arm. I stiffled a laugh before slowly walking back toward the hospital room, thinking about how great it would be to be able to tell everyone that she was my girlfriend, while making sure that I don't run into any walls.

~next day~

Riley P.O.V.
I am supposed to be released from the hospital after about a week for recovery. But after that I still have to be pushed around in a wheelchair for two weeks. It has been only a day yet I feel like I have been awake for so long.

Lucas ended up staying with me through the night. He was sitting in the chair next to me with his head resting on my bed. He had to leave for school soon so I had to wake him up. No matter how cute he looked while he was sleeping.

"Lucas. You have to wake up." I half whispered to him while I put my hand on his back.

"Lucas come on. You gotta get up."

Lucas P.O.V.
Her touch sent chills down my spine. I didn't want to get up. I didn't even want to move. Most of all, I didn't want to go to school. Going to school would mean having to leave Riley alone. I was not willing to do that yet.

"I hope you know that km not going to school today." I grumbled as I had just woken up and was still very tired.

"You have to go to school. I won't let myself be the reason why you start to do bad in school because you miss too many days. You haven't gone to school for three days because you were worried about me. Its Friday, so you can come to the hospital straight after school if you want, but I will not let you stay here and miss even more school. I'm fine, there isn't anything to worry about."

"But what if something happens while I'm gone. I don't want anything to happen to you. I don't know what I would do with myself without you in my life." I paused before continuing "I'm not going."

"Ugh. You're so difficult." She replied with a small smile.

"C'mon, you know that you're glad that I'm staying with you all day." I remarked with a smirk.

She just giggled and then gave me a peck on the lips before sitting up.

Oh! I forgot. Last night I asked Riley to be my girlfriend. She obviously said yes. I practically tackled her when she said that.

I am so glad that o get to stay with Riley for the whole day. This is going to be amazing, even if she can't walk around. She can get pushed around on a wheel chair though, which I volunteered to do whenever she needed fresh air or something. When I looked at her I realized that she had been staring at me.

"What? Is there something on my face?" I ask wiping my face to see if I can get it off.

"No. Im just thinking."

"Oh, about what?"

"Just about how I somehow ended up with the hottest guy in the whole school. I mean me, out of all the hot girls in our school you chose me. Why?"

"Because I love you. And I think that you are beautiful, funny, quirky, you are the most amazing girl that I could ever ask for."

"I love you too, Lucas." She said as she pecked my lips again before scooting over and patting on the open area on the bed that she had just made, signaling for me to lay down next yo her.

"I don't know if I can fit on that small bed." I told her with a small laugh.

"You can do it. Come on!" She said before giggling at my facial expression. I was pretty confused at how she thought that I could fit on that tiny hospital bed with her.

"I guess I could try to fit, but this won't work." I said as I tried to get on the small bed with just enough room for the both of us.

"see? I knew you could fi-" she was but off when I rolled off the bed and onto the floor.

I groaned in pain as she started laughing really hard.

I love these moments. The silly moments that we will always look back on and laugh.

Wow that sucked. Sorry for the wait, I wish that I could have given you guys a better update but I am really tired and couldn't really think of anything.
If you haven't noticed yet, I made a new story! Its Lucaya so its gonna be different but I honestly ship both so I just wanted both Lucaya and Rucas shippers to be able to read my stories.
