Jimin was sitting on a bench in a park near their campus. The sky was starting to get dark, cold wind touching his slightly damp cheeks. It's like the weather is going along with what he's feeling right now.
He held his bag tighter towards his chest and rubbed his hands together. It was starting to get colder.
He looked up and remembered what happened in the shop. He clenched his fist together and closed his eyes.
"So much for wanting me to stand badly there with you, when you even left without me"
Jimin didn't have to turn, he knows that voice too well.
Yoongi sat beside him and let the silence flow between them for a while. Jimin sighed deeply and leaned his back on the bench, still looking up.
"So, you wanted to know everything, right?" Jimin suddenly spoke rubbing his hands gently together for warmth.
Yoongi looked at him blankly, "You know, you don't have to push yourself to tell me if you're not ready"
Jimin shook his head and was able to put up a sad smile, "No, you deserve to know"
Yoongi didn't like one bit of the kind of smile Jimin is giving him. He let him get himself together before uttering an 'okay'.
"Remember what happened yesterday?" Jimin said.
"You mean, when you were in a complete crying mess in front of me?"
"Yoongi"
"What? A lot of things happened yesterday. I just wanted a specific moment" Yoongi shrugged, acting like he was stating the most obvious thing. Typical Yoongi.
Jimin rolled his eyes and decided to ignore it, "So, yeah, yesterday... I saw Taehyung and Jungkook together inside the shop"
He prepared himself and sat properly, hands together on his lap, then he started.
"They're both my friends way back in my town. Taehyung and I grew up together. We were inseparable" He smiled staring at his fidgeting fingers, then it turned into a sad one.
"Until he had to leave for high school. So, I had to go to school alone, without Taehyung for the first time. It was hard at first, I got too attached to him that I felt like I can't live without him. Fortunately, I was able to adjust and I began to do well. After a year, I met Jungkook. He's two years younger than me. We became the closest friends since then, but I never had forgotten about Taehyung. We still contacted each other from time to time" Jimin heaved a deep trembling sigh. Yoongi can feel that the next thing would be the bomb.
"Then the time came that Taehyung announced that they'll be coming back in town and continue his studies where I am attending. I was really happy that we'll be able to see each other again, that I can finally be with him just like the old times. And I was looking forward for Jungkook to meet Taehyung.... And finally, the day came and I was able to introduce them together. We were the most troublesome trio in school. We get along pretty well, us three", he laughed a bit remembering the times that they were making troubles in school that got them in detention for a couple of times. Those were the moments that he wanted to hold on to, but at the same time, hurts him even more.
"But one time, I decided to tell Taehyung about the guy that I like for quite some time. He's been bugging me ever since I told him about it. So, I decided I should tell him who one day and that on the same day I would confess to that person. I was so confident that time, I called Taehyung immediately and tell him about my plan and then said that he also needed to see me. We met in the gym, just like what he told me. He was so flushed that time, I even had time to make fun with his face. When I was about to tell him what I was supposed to say, Jungkook suddenly appeared from behind Taehyung" he swallowed and bit his lip a bit.
