Chapter 7

"T-taehyung??"

Taehyung quickly went to him and hugged him tight. Jimin didn't move. Jimin was too surprised and didn't even noticed that he had grabbed a hold of Yoongi's hand.

Yoongi flinched at the touch and looked at Jimin. He saw terrified and shocked written on his face, just like what he saw yesterday. He was thinking that maybe this guy had something to do with what Jimin saw. Yoongi can feel him tremble. He felt like he had to do something. So, he held Jimin's hand tight, to let the other know that he's here. He felt Jimin relaxed and saw him closed his eyes.

"Jimin, where have you been? Why didn't you answer my calls? I've been so worried. What happened?"

Taehyung kept his arms around Jimin. He can feel others staring at them now, but he didn't care. Jimin didn't hug Taehyung back. He was just there, standing, too afraid to utter a word. He's afraid that he might spill words that he isn't supposed to. He didn't trust his mind that time. So, he stood still.

He squeezed Yoongi's hands for help. As if getting his message, Yoongi cleared his throat to get Taehyung's attention. The other pulled away from Jimin and looked at Yoongi.

"Uhm, might as well take your talk outside?"

Taehyung stared at Yoongi, then to Jimin, and to their hands. He looked back at Jimin, who was looking everywhere but him. He then sighed and nodded, walking ahead.

Yoongi was expecting Jimin to let go of his hands and also walk outside. But Jimin only tighten his grip and pulled him a little with him, looking at Yoongi with teary eyes.

"What?? Don't tell me I'm going with you while you two talk?" He whispered and glanced at Taehyung outside, waiting for Jimin.

"I-I don't know if I'm ready to face him" he says in a little voice, looking down to his feet. Yoongi sighed in frustration.

"Seriously? I'll be standing awkwardly there" he hissed and ruffled his hair. "You can take Hoseok with you, then I'll wait for you here" he said ready to call Hoseok, but got pulled back.

"No. He doesn't know I have issues. You're the only one who knows" Jimin says trying his best not to make his voice loud.

"I just need you to stand there with me. Please. Just this once" he pleaded and held Yoongi's hand with his both.

Yoongi was having a hard time with Jimin. Just yesterday, he was dealing a crying Jimin, now he's dealing with another one. He grunted but didn't let go of Jimin's hand.

"Just this once Yoongi. Please" Jimin said again, showing off his best puppy eyes just so he can get a yes from the other.

Yoongi pinched the bridge of nose, thinking hard. He doesn't want to give in, but seeing Jimin and a waiting Taehyung outside, he doesn't have any choice.

"Fine, just once" he sighed in defeat, but then got a better idea. "In return, you have to tell me what the fck is going on. Deal?"

Jimin's eyes widened, and felt even more anxious. He thought about the things Yoongi had already done and seen since yesterday. It was enough for him to know, right?

Jimin thought about it even more, but decided to have a final decision later after the talk. He can't have Taehyung wait all day outside.

"Can we talk about that later? Just please." Jimin pleaded again and tug at Yoongi's hand.

Yoongi sighed for the nth time. He then nodded and dragged Jimin out of the shop, not bothering to tell Hoseok where they'll be. He'll find his way out.

They got out and saw Taehyung sitting at the steps of the shop, still waiting. He sensed someone and stood up to see Jimin and Yoongi.

Jimin just walked pass by Taehyung and went to an open space just beside the shop with Taehyung and Yoongi following him.

They stood there in silence for a few minutes. The atmosphere was beyond awkward, that you can hear a stick snap because of how silent they were. Jimin was looking down as he was fidgeting his feet out of nerves while Yoongi was standing right behind him, feeling like a plug in the situation. None of them spoke, maybe waiting for the right words to spill.

But Taehyung couldn't handle it anymore, and was the first one to break the silence.

"What happened to you Jimin?" He turned to Jimin, trying to gain eye contact.

Jimin looked up and didn't say anything. He just looked at Taehyung with an unreadable expression.

Taehyung got more frustrated. He ruffled his hair and sighed loudly. Yoongi didn't know what he was going to do. So he looked around the area and searched for something to distract him. He didn't want to interfere the two more since his presence there is probably already disturbing. But that doesn't mean that he isn't going to listen from time to time. He also wants to know badly what is going on with Jimin.

Taehyung took a step closer to Jimin and looked at him with questioning eyes.

"Why did you disappeared all of a sudden? You didn't know what we went through after you left without any notice" Taehyung said, voice almost cracking.

Jimin got stung with the last words and remembered something painful that he dug way back in his memories, trying to forget.

"You never needed me there anyway" Jimin said for the first time he faced Taehyung.

Tears started to form at the corner of Taehyung's eyes. It hurt him even more.

"W-why would you say that? How can you tell we don't? Most especially to Jung-"

"He doesn't need me anymore" Jimin said, his voice also starting to break.

Taehyung stomped and kicked the ground.

"Why Jimin?? I don't know what has gotten into you. I've noticed that ever since I told you-" Taehyung started raising his voice. He was once again cut by Jimin, raising his palms facing Taehyung, with a straight face.

"I don't want to hear anything from you for now. Just please leave me alone" Jimin said as he turned around walked fastly away from them.

Yoongi saw this, but was too late to stop Jimin as he saw him turned at the corner. He saw Taehyung standing awkwardly with him beside the sidewalk. He even has the gut to leave me behind, after dragging me here.

He thought and sighed deeply. He caught Taehyung's attention and turned to him. He faintly smiled at Yoongi.

"I don't know what to do now. He completely shut me out" he said voice starting to give in, but held it a little longer. He didn't even realize he was talking to a stranger.

Yoongi sighed, totally confused about the whole thing. "I don't even know what I'm going to do to him" he unconsciously said. He was supposed to say, 'Yea I know, I'll be going'.

Taehyung heaved a deep sigh and completely faced Yoongi. "Please take care of him for me. I'm glad there's someone who could look after him, even if somehow he's handful" He said eyes looking down, as if remembering something with Jimin and him.

Yoongi felt that there is a strong bond Taehyung has been holding on to. Maybe that's why Jimin got hurt whatever happened to them.

He wanted to say he doesn't have to take care about the kid, but it all came out wrong as he opened his mouth to talk.

"I will"
