Chapter 21: AVI'S BIRTHDAY?!

When we returned home, it was March 30 (Sorry If Date Isn't Right) and Gabe told me somethin shockin one night while everyone was asleep.

"Avi's birthday is tomorrow! March 31st!" Gabe told me.

"WHAT?!" I screamed, almost waking Avi and Pap.

      "You didn't know?" Gabe asked me. I shook my head in shock.

     "What am I gonna get her?! She's the love of my life! It would break her heart if I didn't... I can't even talk about breakin her heart!" I exclaimed.

      "She's turning 23. I'm 22, of course. She's older than me." Gabe said, pouting. I chuckled. Wait, what if I...

"Hey Gabe, d-do you think I should pro-." I started, but Avi walked out of her room and down the stairs, and looked at us.

"What are you 2 doing up..?" She said, rubbing her eyes.

      "Nothin kid. Let's take you back to bed." I said, and stood up. I picked her up, and she passed out in my arms. I carried her to bed and gently placed her in the bed. I got in next to Avi and wrapped my arm around her, and fell asleep.

"Morning sleepy-bones." Avi said, waking me up. I slowly opened my eyes to see her hovering over me. I smiled and rubbed my eyes. She got off the bed and slipped on her slippers. (No pun intended)

I stood up and kissed her.

"Happy birthday, gorgeous." I said and smiled. Avi brightly smiled and hugged me.

OH CRAP NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! PRESENT PRESENT PRESENT!!!!

"I, uh, will make you a special breakfast, to celebrate! If you wanna get back in bed I'll bring it to you!" I said.

"Okay, sounds good." Avi said, and got back into her bed. I exited the room and closed the door.

I made bacon, cause I know she loves bacon, chocolate chip pancakes, and scrambled eggs. I brought it to her and she thanked me happily.

"I'll be right back, I have to go somewhere." I said and kissed her forehead. Avi waved bye to me as I exited the room.
