Chad's POV

1 week later.
1:30 am

Hayley and I had been caught up in eachothers love for the most of the night. Her legs wrapped tightly around my waist, my lips on her neck. She scratched my back as I left hickies on her neck and she whimpered slightly.

Soon we heard the door open and I jumped off her and pulled the covers over us.

Rider ran over to us, sobbing and sniffling. He began to climbed into bed with us when Hayley stopped him.

"What's wrong sweetie?" She asked.

"N-nightmare."

"Okay, you go back into you're room and I'll come and lay with you."

"Okay," he sobbed before walking out of our room.

Hayley got out of bed and began to put an oversized shirt on along with some panties.

"Really?" I said.

"What?"

"He's 9 years old and you're gonna go lay with him."

"Chad he's had a hard life, he's bound to get nightmares about his past. You're just pissed because you're not getting anymore of the V tonight."

I rolled my eyes and laid back down again.

Hayley's POV

I walked into Rider's room and laid with him. He cuddled up to me and our breathing became synchronized.

"What was your bad dream about?"

"It was a flashback to when I was two. For some reason I always dream about it."

"Was is when your mom tried to..."

"No, not that. It was about when I was left in my crib one night. She had different men down stairs and I was crying. She came into my room with one of these men and they were yelling in my face yelling me to shut up. The guy went to hit me and then I woke up."

"Honey," I said as I held him closer. "It's okay, just try and sleep, okay?"

He nodded and snuggled closer.

I woke up without Rider in my arms. I lifted my head up and saw him feed Sparky little bits of hamster food through the bars of the cage.

"Good morning, monster."

He turned and smiled at me. "Good morning, momma."

I love it when he calls me that. I still can't believe that he's officially ours now.

"Shall we go out for breakfast this morning?" I asked.

"Yeah," he said. "I want sausage pancakes."

"You would like. I want doesn't get remember."

"I would like sausage pancakes," he said.

"Good boy, should we go and get dad?"

"Yeah!"

We both walked into mine and Chad's room and climbed into bed with him.

"Good morning, dad," Rider said.

"Good morning, bud. How are you?"

"Good," he said.

"That's good. What do y'all want?"

"For you to wake up! C'mon we want brekfast," Rider said.

"Make some toast or something."

"Actually we wanna go out for breakfast," I said.
