She stepped out of the door that separated the ruins from the rest of the underground as took in her surroundings. There were tall dark trees framing the snowy path in front of her, she took a step forward and winced as the freezing snow came into contact with her bare feet. She quickly walked through this forested area until a sign slowly came into view.
"Welcome to Snowdin." Heartfelt read out loud.
She walked past the sign and soon many wooden building on either side of a street, it was so peaceful and quiet here. Even though it was the middle of the night a few monsters were still on the streets. Heartfelt walked up to building with the name 'Grillby's' written on a huge sign just above the door. It seemed like some sort of restaurant, Heartfelt decided to go inside. The stepped in quietly, careful so she would not draw any attention to herself, and walked to the front of the room and sat down on a stool.
"Hi," A skeleton said to her, "My name is Clarendon, I haven't seen you around Snowdin before, what's your name?"
Heartfelt looked at this skeleton, she was a female as far as she could tell and she had black eyes with white pupils. She wore a grey loose fitting t-shirt and jeans, she had a kind smile and it made Heartfelt fell a little better about being in a new and unpredictable place.
"Oh, my name is Heartfelt, I'm visiting from another place. It's nice to meet you Clarendon." She said warmly.
"Those are my brothers, Papyrus and Sans." Clarendon said gesturing to two other skeletons.
Heartfelt looked over at the skeletons, one was much taller than the other and had a red scarf. The shorter skeleton had white pin-prick pupils like Clarendon and wore a blue jacket. The taller skeleton saw her looking over at him and he smiled and waved, he walked over and introduced himself as 'the great Papyrus'. The shorter skeleton joined his brother and introduced himself as Sans. The four monsters got along extremely well and by the end of the night when Heartfelt had to leave the group had become good friends. Heartfelt and Clarendon had especially taken a liking to each other, Heartfelt agreed to visit again the next night and said goodbye.
"See you tomorrow night." Clarendon had said as Heartfelt had left.
Heartfelt left with a smile on her face, she couldn't wait for tomorrow.
