Heartfelt walked alongside Clarendon, the townsfolk chittering amoungst themselves. Clarendon sighed, she looked over to Heartfelt, so was so pretty, from her fluffy white ears that framed her charming face adorned with a pair of eyes that twinkled like sapphires.

"Hey, Heartfelt? Wanna grab something to eat?" Clarendon offered.

"Yes, that would be lovely!" Heartfelt responded.

The Clarendon opened the door to Grillby's, a pub that Clarendon and Heartfelt frequented ever since Heartfelt started visiting Snowdin. Clarendon bought two orders of fries and brought them over to the booth where Heartfelt waited patiently.

"Thanks 'Don." Heartfelt said, she was about to give Clarendon a few coins for buying her food but she stopped her.

"No, its fine, it wasn't that much anyway." Clarendon said with a sweet smile.

"Oh, ok." Heartfelt said, smiling at the monster's small yet heartwarming kind act.

Heartfelt plucked two fries from her basket and popped them into her mouth, she looked up to see Clarendon's basket was half empty although this didn't surprise her all that much. Clarendon wiped some excess salt and crumbs off her mouth. Clarendon caught Heartfelt's gaze and blushed, Heartfelt suppressed a giggle as Clarendon tried to start a conversation.

"Y-Your mom's nice." She said nervously.

"Yeah, she is, I think that your brother and her would get along well." Heartfelt said.

"Papyrus?" Clarendon inquired.

"Sans actually, she's a bit of comedian herself." Heartfelt said.

Clarendon smiled and nodded, the two monsters conversed for a little while longer, Heartfelt felt so full of joy just being around Clarendon, the skeleton had a beautiful voice and such a dazzling smile. Heartfelt's affection for the skeleton wasn't just skin deep however, the monster fell in love with Clarendon's charming personality and over the past few months they had spent together Heartfelt had come to appreciate things about Clarendon that a stranger would overlook, from how she spoke to how she blushed and fumbled on her words when she was nervous. Whilst they talked Heartfelt meditated on her feelings, she realized that she really had devolped feelings for the skeleton, she made it up in her mind that she would confess to Clarendon, despite the risk of being rejected.
