It's a fucking wasteland of regret now isn't it? On both sides.
It's interesting to me, and amusing, when a person is commonly infamous for admitting their wrong and owning up to it, only to go back and make the same mistakes.
It does not make you any more grown nor any more mature in any nature by just admitting idiocy. If your goal is to come about to people in a fashion of strength, rebirth, and self redemption, then you're going about it the wrong way. Try actually doing something about it.
An asshole can apologize for being an asshole but an apology can only stretch so far when you do nothing to make up for it. "I'm sorry" only becomes an excuse and the people around said asshole will get tired of it. And that's why people leave.
