Once again, Daniel had taken me home high on life. He was so great, I couldn't believe how perfect he was. I know people say that perfection doesn't exist. And, I used to laugh at couples who would say things like ''my boyfriend is perfect'' or ''my girl is the definition of perfection'' because I used to be one of those people who thought that perfection didn't exist. Until now. I literally thought that everything about him was perfect. His smile that makes the whole room light up, his cute laugh that makes you happy, his beautiful eyes that make you melt when he looks at you and his touch that makes my whole body shiver. I honestly couldn't pick a single flaw. I know that might sound silly or whatever, but he makes me so happy and if he does that, then what have I got to complain about?
I was awoken from my daydreaming by my mum. ''Natasha? Hello? Earth to Natasha?''
''Uh, sorry mum, what were you saying?'' I said.
She sighed. ''You might want to think about getting a little job you know. Not full time, just a part-time job that could earn you some extra money. There's a small shop a couple of streets away, I noticed that they were hiring. It might be an idea if you went down and asked about the position.''
''Yeah, okay mum.'' I said, still not really listening that much.
I was so tired after todays events, that I went to bed after that conversation. I slipped into my nightie and got into bed. I text Dan a quick ''Night x'' before putting my phone down and drifting off to sleep.
I woke up halfway through the night to hear my phone ringing. I moaned, rubbed my eyes and checked the caller ID. It was Skip.
I answered. ''Skip? Baby, do you know what time it is?'' I said quietly, trying not to wake everyone up.
He ignored my question. ''Do you wanna see something cool?''
''Yeah, tomorrow.''
''Nah, now. It's better at night, trust me. Meet me outside in 5, don't dress up.''
''Okay then.''
I hung up and put my phone down on my bed. I was so tired, I thought I wouldn't be able to move my legs. Ohh, and my bed was so warm! I really didn't want to get out but Daniel was probably aready outside.
I threw on a hoodie, baggy track suit trousers and pumps. I made my way downstairs trying not to creek the stairs, obviously they were being as loud as an elephant. I got outside and saw Dan. I pouted, telling him that I wasn't that amused about being woken up. He laughed and pouted aswell, crossing his arms. Mocking me. I rolled my eyes and smiled. We both walked towards eachother and he kissed me on the nose when we reached eachother.
''Ready then?'' He said, holding out his hand.
''Lets go.'' I said, putting my hand in his.
We walked along the streets for about 15 minutes before coming to a fence.
''We need to get over this fence, I'll help youse don't worry.'' He said.
Oh god, I knew I was going to fall or trip or something. I placed my legs on the bottom part of the fence and got a good grip with my hands. I felt Daniels hands on my back, helping me. I stopped when I felt one of his hands on my bum. I turned my head around and raised my eyebrows at him.
He shrugged and said, ''Hey, I'm just helping.''
I put my concentration back onto getting over the fence. In roughly 3 more twists and turns, I was over. Daniel was straight behind me. I stopped and just stared at my surroundings, completely in awe. It was beautiful. It looked like a little park or even a garden, full of flowers and trees. But the best thing was, there were fireflies everywhere. Lighting up each petal and each tree trunk.
''Wow.'' I said.
''I know. It makes me have to catch my breath everytime.'' He said.
I felt his hand lock with mine. He pulled me closer and hugged me from the back, tightly.
I felt him moving behind me, swaying.
''What are you doing?'' I said, giggling.
''Hmm, dunno. Trying to dance, I think.'' He said.
He spun me around, so that I was facing him. I took my arms and placed them around his neck. His hands slowly traced down my body and stopped at my waist. We both moved in time with eachother.I placed my head in his chest and he put his head ontop of mine. I looked up at him and softly kissed him.
''Dan?'' I said.
''Yes?'' He replied.
''I think that I'm in love with you.''
''Good. I've never had someone like youse. I think I'm in love with you too, well I know I am.''
