Not So Different?

You look over from your math sheet, peeking at Law again. He was a few desks away and done with his worksheet. His chin rested in his hands in a bored manner, eyes trained on his desk. His silver orbs suddenly flick straight to you, meeting your gaze. You blush and swiftly look away marking your cheek with your own pencil doing so. You wipe off your cheek and and blush more when you hear an amused breath leave Law. You sneak another glance at him to him smirking, looking at you still. You blush again and swiftly look away. Every class you have with him went like that, but he didn't mention the odd little things you did whenever he caught you looking at him.

"___-ya," His voice makes you stop and look back.

"Yeah Law?" You ask starting to blush. He smirks at your nervous posture.

"Do you have plans today?" He asks as you both continue to walk home.

"U-uh n-no actually..." You admit with a blush, cursing your suddenly shy attitude. He chuckles thoughtfully.

"Care to show me around town?" He inquires. You blink in surprise, so he wanted to spend more time with you? You give him a big smile.

"I'd love to," You murmur. He blinks and smiles back, looking thoughtful.

"Good," He rumbles. You come to a stop in front of your house. He tilts his head at the empty driveway. "Parents away?" He guesses.

"Well my mom is on a business trip, and my dad died a while back," You admit. He blinks and frowns.

"Oh, I'm sorry, didn't mean to..." He trails off and you give him a smile.

"Its fine, you didn't know, and it doesn't hurt... Wanna come inside? You can leave your things here if you want a tour now," You tell him opening the door. He blinks.

"Sure as long as you don't mind," He murmurs, following you inside. You set your things down next to the door.

"I don't mind at all Law. I'll be right back, just need to change shoes," You tell him before going upstairs, you go into your room and pause finding Sabo, Ace, and your dad on your bed playing poker, and by the looks of it Sabo was winning. They all look at you and grin.

"So... How'd it go?" Ace asks. You blush and put on your other shoes.

"I'm gonna be going to take him on a tour of the town," You admit quietly with a smile. Sabo grins more.

"Good I'm glad you two are getting along, I was worried at first," He says thoughtfully. You nod and pause.

"I'll ask you about that later," You murmur before heading out and down the stairs, pausing when you see Law looking at a familiar horror movie. You have a flashback to that day with demon Law and let out a breath. "You uh, like that movie?" You ask, going over to him.

"Yes actually, I used to watch it for fun," He admits. You blink and chuckle.

"Heh, weird its my favorite too," You muse, thoughtfully.

"What's your favorite part?" He tests.

"When the killer goes after Emma and she pushes a bookshelf on him," You giggle. He smiles, looking at you thoughtfully.

"Mine too..." He breathes. You both pause and he chuckles. "Interesting." He murmurs. You pause and blush a bit. You wanted to hug him so badly. He blinks, "Something wrong?" He inquires.
