Something buzzing on and off slowly woke you. Your eyes drift open and you yawn, nuzzling the warmth against you. Warmth? When did you fall asleep? Your eyes drift up to find a familiar face inches away. You swallow, Law. He shifts, letting out a breath eyes easing open to meet yours. You blink and blush heavily while he just smirks. "Morning," He breathes quietly.

"Good morning... Law," You whisper, a small smile pulling on your lips briefly before vanishing when your alarm clock's buzz catches your ear. You gasp and crawl over him off the couch, swiftly hurrying upstairs to turn it off. Why didn't Sabo or your dad wake you? You turn it off and pause. You were four hours late to school. Oh well, looks like you were skipping then. Hope Law wouldn't mind that you kinda made him skip school. You straighten up looking around, deciding to check the second floor. Where were they? You search the rooms before stopping in the hall, looking around.

"You looking for something?" Law asks behind you, making you jump and look back.

"Nope," You chime with a small smile. He blinks, eyes glinting briefly.

"Alright, mind if I take a shower?" He inquires scratching the back of his head.

"Oh, sure... Do you need clothes?" You reply.

"No, I'll have someone bring me some." He responds tipping your chin as he goes past and into the bathroom. You blink raising an eyebrow before shaking your head and deciding to head down stairs and make breakfast. You yawn raising your arms just now feeling the shift of something wrapped around your right wrist. You bring your arms down to look at the red beaded bracelet curiously. You tilt your head at the odd symbols on it. When did this get here? Did Law put this on you when you weren't paying attention?

The thought made you blush and smile. You start on breakfast in a slight daze after that. The similarities between the human and demon were there. Though human Law didn't seem as affectionate nor er... Clingy as demon Law. Yet, you felt as if the demon was still with you. You blink down at the breakfast you were making feeling a stone settle in your stomach again and the heat come to your eyes as they threatened to tear up. You missed the demon still. Warmth at your back made you exhale as arms wrap around your waist. Law's face moved beside yours.

"Smells good." He breathes.

"Thanks." You whisper, voice too hushed. He blinks and looks at you turning your chin to him.

"What's wrong?" He murmurs cupping your cheek thumb caressing your cheek. You blink at him offering a small smile.

"Sorry... I was uh... thinking again..." You admit quietly. He blinks and frowns setting the pan on a different burner before turning you to him and pulling you into is bare chest for a hug. You pause slightly face exploding into a blush against his warm skin. You swallow glancing down and mentally thanking him for at least having a towel on. After another moment you hear him chuckle and glance up to see his smirk.

"Feel better now?" He asks. You pull away giving a shy nod playing with the bracelet subconsciously. He takes notice. "Do you like it?" He inquires. You blink looking at it.

"Yes... Why did you give it to me?" You ask looking up into his eyes. He smiles a bit.

"It's for protection." He muses touching it.

"From what?" You murmur. He tilts his head meeting your eyes and opening his mouth to say something but there's a knock on the front door.

"Oh, my clothes are here." He comments strolling out of the kitchen. You blink before getting some plates ready and sitting at the counter to eat. Law returns in a hoodie and jeans coming over and sitting beside you. "Thank you for making me breakfast."

"It's the least I could do since its my fault you missed school." You point out.

"No it's not.... I chose to stay... You whined when I tried to get up..." He muses. You blush glancing at him seeing him smirking down at his plate thoughtfully. You blink at him and smile a bit leaning on him slightly as you start to eat. He glances at you smiling.

"So what do you want to do since we missed school?" You murmur.

"Well we could finish touring the town... What do you say?" He inquires.

"Shouldn't you check in with your parents?" You ask. He became quiet at that and you became aware of your error. "I'm sorry... I-I didn't mean-" He kisses your cheek making you pause with a blush.

"You couldn't have known, ___," He breathes. You relax touching your cheek as you finish eating. "Ready to get going?" He asks getting up and taking your plate. You get up.

"Let me take a shower first." You tell him.

"I'll be here waiting." He hums starting to wash the plates. You nod and briskly go upstairs and taking a shower. You head back down after getting dressed smiling a bit. Law lunged on the couch getting up as you come down. "Shall we?" He hums offering an arm. You grin and take his arm before heading out.

"She ignored me...." Rocinante pouted at the door. Ace was pouting beside him, but Sabo was frowning at the door.

"She didn't... She just couldn't see or sense you." Sabo sighs.

"What do you mean? Did she lose the ability?" Ace asks raising a brow at him. Sabo shifts and shakes his head.

"No it's being blocked... You two keep an eye on them, and don't let Law see you or he'll send you away." He tells them.

"He can see too!?" Rocinante gasps in surprise.

"So it was him that kicked us out last night.." Ace mutters.

"I believe so... I'm going to do some digging, remember not to let him see you." Sabo tells them before disappearing.

"The theater is up ahead and that's it." You tell him starting to slow down until he takes your hand.

"I see... Care to join me for a movie?" He asks softly. You blink and blush.

"I- y-yeah sure," You smile. He chuckles tipping your chin with his free hand and gazing into your eyes.

"How is it that no one has taken you?" He breathes.

"I-I was taken... B-but he...." You trail off swallowing feeling the lump again. He softens and pulls you into a hug.

"Sorry... I keep making you think about it.." He murmurs. "But when you're ready... Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks peering at your face. You blush heavily looking at him in shock. He chuckles and specks your lips. "Don't answer that. I'll ask again once you're healed," He says pulling away and offering a hand. "So how about a movie?" He whispers. You smile happily taking his hand.

"I would like that..."
