From The Pot And Into The Fire

"We need to get out of here. It isn't safe," You tell Nami and Zoro when you and Robin found them in one of the living rooms.

"Six minutes until the next attack," Law informs. You give him a look. "We like to time things..." He explains with a slight shrug.

"I'm all for that, but we need to find the others." Nami says, hugging Robin in relief.

"I'll go find them, you guys wait here together," You tell them.

"But you just said it wasn't safe, you can't go off alone." Nami objects.

"She'll be fine," Zoro comments.

"And something tells me she won't be alone," Robin agrees, giving you a smile. You blink and raise an eyebrow before smirking.

"Yeah, I'm in good hands." You muse before running down the hall, not seeing the grin that came to Law's face when you said that.

"Five minutes," He tells you.

"Got it, think you can help me out?" You ask quietly. Law pauses, glancing around.

"I can't sense any near by," He murmurs.

"They must be deeper inside the mansion," You mutter turning down another hall. "Luffy! Sanji!" You call. Something snapping over head makes you flip back swiftly, narrowly dodging the chandelier. You let out a breath at the closeness before running passed it as Law glares up at the demon.

"Don't drop things on my human Dellinger," He snarls. You continue running down the hall. You glance into the rooms as you pass, occasionally calling for them. Law keeps up glancing around carefully.

"Anything yet?" You ask, glancing at him.

"Over there," He breathes, nodding in some direction. "Ten seconds," He adds. You grit your teeth and try to speed up, silently counting down. Time was up before you reached the kitchen and crashing plates meet your ears. You run into the kitchen to find Sanji and Chopper hiding behind a tipped over table.

"Oh! More fun!" The demon growls, throwing dishes at you. You swiftly duck behind the wall, jumping slightly when knife pierces the wall next to your head. You glance at yourself it's expression.

"Damn Apoo!" Law snarls. You take out your prayer beads and back into the kitchen, reciting a loud prayer.

"Oi! OI!!" The demons object but vanish. You relax and Sanji tackle hugs you.

"___~ Be careful! It's dangerous!" He gasps.

"This place is scary!" Chopper cries, hugging your waist.

"That's exactly why we're leaving, Nami and Zoro are in the living room down the hall, Im going to go get Luffy and Usopp." You tell them.

"I'll go with you," Sanji offers.

"Sanji, I'll be fine, but Nami and Robin are scared, they were attacked earlier," You tell him. He lights up and takes off down the hall.

"I'm coming ladies~~!" He calls.

"H-hey! Wait for me!" Chopper cries, running after him swiftly. You frown uneasily once they're gone, that prayer had sent Law away too.

"I need to hurry," You breathe, taking off down another hall. Another crash sounds ahead.

"Luffy!" Usopp cries out upstairs. You grit your teeth and run up the stairs. A step breaks under one of your feet and you fall forward.
