Trouble

*Josh's Point of View*

I was so happy hearing my son or daughter's heart beat. I didn't think anything could ruin that moment. Well that was until we walked out and my smile was gone in less than a second. There was about 50 paparazzi outside.

I look over at Alex and Alice. Alice looked use to it but I could tell Alex was really upset.

I say,"Hey Alice. Can you take Alex's car to your house. I want to spend some time with her alone."

She says,"Yeah that's fine. I'll talk to you guys later."

Alex just nods and I say,"Okay. See you."

She walks toward Alex's car and some of the paparazzi follow her. I grab Alex's hand and lead her to my car. People start talking all at once,"Josh. Who is this? Why are you here? Is she pregnant? Is this your girlfriend? How old is she? Josh. How's Jen? Josh. How do you think Catching Fire will be? Will you sign this?"

I open Alex's door and she gets in. I slam her door then walk as fast as I can to my side and get in. I start my car and start driving. I look over at Alex and she's looking out the window.

I say,"Im sorry."

She looks at me and says,"You have no reason to be sorry."

I say,"Now everyone will know that you're pregnant or at least think you are."

She sighs and says,"I don't care anymore. They will have to get over it."

I say,"Yes they will."

She says,"Where are we going anyway?"

I say,"Im hungry. Are you?"

She says,"Yes. We could go to my house and eat."

I say,"I want to take you out."

She says,"You don't have to do that."

I say,"But I want to."

She says,"Im not dressed to go out to eat."

I say,"You look beautiful." She's not dressed up or anything but she does look beautiful. She always does.

She says,"Where are we going?" I

say,"How about Waffle House?"

She says,"Okay. I've been wanting some pancakes."

I smile and say,"Waffle house it is then." She just laughs.

I pull in a parking spot and turn off my car. This place doesn't look to busy. There's only a few cars here. Good.

I turn and face Alex and say,"You ready?"

She says,"Yes."

I get out of the car and meet her at door. I open the door and she walks in and sits in the booth near the back. I sit across from her and smile. A waitress comes a few seconds after we sit down.

She looks at me and smiles,"Hey cutie. What can I get you to drink?"

I roll my eyes and say,"Coke."

She writes it down then turn to Alex and says,"What do you want?"

Alex says,"I'll have a water." She nods and walks away.

Alex says,"Well isn't she something?"

I say,"Yeah. Nothing good though."

She just laughs and starts looking at the menu. I smile and start flipping through the menu.

The waitress comes back with our drinks and says,"Are you ready to order?"

Alex says,"Yes. I'll have the blue berry pancakes."
