Good News

*Josh's Point of View*

I open the door to see a police officer standing in front of me.

I smile at him and say,"Hello sir."

He says,"Hello. I'm officer Carter."

I say,"Is there anything I could help you with tonight?"

He says,"I went by Alexis Jackson's house and she didn't answer the door. We got in contact with her mother and she said that she might be here."

I say,"She's here but she's asleep."

He says,"I hate to wake her but we need her to come down to the station to answer some questions."

I say,"I'll go get her up.  Come in." I let him in then go up stairs to wake Alex up.

*Alex's Point of View*

"Alex..... Alex." I groan and open my eyes to see Josh leaning over me.

I say,"Yes?"

He says,"A police officer wants to talk to you."

Why in the world would be an officer want to talk to me?

I say,"Where is he?"

He says,"Down stairs."

I sigh and sit up. I stretch and get out of bed.

I say,"Should I change clothes or..?"

He smiles and says,"No. You look beautiful just like that."

I smile back and kiss him.

I say,"Well come on."

I walk downstairs and see the officer standing near the door.

He sees me and says,"Ms.Jackson we need you to come down to the station to answer a few questions."

I say,"Okay."

I slide on my flip flops then walk into the living room and get my phone.

I walk back to the officer and say,"Im ready but can Josh take me?"

He says,"Im afraid not."

I sigh and say,"Okay then."

I follow him to his car and get in. I stare out of window and think of all the possible reasons why I would need to answer questions for the police.

*20 minutes later*

We pull into the parking lot and get out of the car. I follow him into the station and stand they're awkwardly while he talks to another officer.

He finally turns to me and says,"Come on."

I follow him into a room with no windows. Just a table with two chairs like you see in the movies.

He says,"Take a seat."

I nod and go sit down. He takes the seat across from me and says,"So I heard you're pregnant."

I say,"Yes, sir. I am."

He says,"By who?"

I say,"Josh Hutcherson."

He nods and writes something down.

He says,"How old are you?"

I say,"18."

He says,"How old is Josh."

I say,"20."

He says,"Does your mother known about this?"

I say,"Yes."

He says,"Does she approve?"

I say,"Yes."

He nods and writes something down. 

He says,"From what you and your mom have told me, it's true that she approves and since you are
18 there's nothing we can do to Josh."

I say,"Okay."

He says,"You can go now. I wish you the best with the baby."

I say,"Thanks," then walk out the station. 

I'm so happy that we don't have to worry anymore. Our baby will get to have both it's parents in its life all the time. I decide to text Josh to tell him the good news.

Hey, everything is fine. We can be together without worrying about anything or anyone. I'm so happy. I love you. (:
