Girls Day

Today I'm spending the day with Alice for some needed girl time.  Right now we're at my house getting ready to go to the mall.

Alice says,"So what are we going to look at first?" 

I say,"I really want to start getting some clothes for the twins but I don't know what to get." 

She says,"Isn't yellow like a boy and girl color?" 

I say,"Yeah but I still don't know what to get." 

She says,"You could get bottles and stuff." 

I say,"Yeah. That's a good idea. I totally forgot about all that stuff." 

She laughs and says,"How could you forget?" 

I say,"I just found out I'm having twins 3 weeks ago. I'm still in shock." 

She says,"I would be too. It's crazy to think there's a baby inside you."  I

say,"It is weird but it's babies not baby."

She rolls her eyes and says,"You knew what I meant."

I say,"I was joking."

She smirks and says"Better have been." 

I laugh and say,"Hurry and finish your hair. I'm going to change clothes." 

She just nods and walk into my room. I walk inside my closet and start looking through my clothes. I finally pick out a pair of jean shorts and a pink Hollister shirt.  I change then look at myself in my full body mirror. Everything on my body is the same but my stomach. You can really tell I'm pregnant now. While standing there staring at myself I hear Alice come out of my bathroom. 

She says,"Oh my goodness!" 

I turn and look at her,"What?" 

She says,"Your belly is getting so big!" 

I say,"Ive noticed." 

She puts her hand on my stomach and says,"Hi babies." 

I laugh and say,"Come on. Lets go." 

She says,"Okay!" 

We put on our flip flops and walk down the stairs.  I grab my keys and lead the way outside.  We get in my car and I pull out and start driving.

"Oh my god. Look at this outfit!"  I've been hearing that all day.  Every time Alice sees a cute outfit she runs and shows me. 

I say,"Yes I know it's cute but that's for a girl. I don't know if it's a boy or girl yet." 

She sighs and says,"You say the same thing every time. Why can't you know yet?" 

I say,"I don't know. I wish I knew." 

She says,"Me too. Have you found any bottles?" 

I say,"Yeah. I'm going to buy some and some diapers." 

She says,"Sounds like a plan." 

I say,"Im going to pay for this stuff then we can go wherever." 

She says,"Im pretty hungry. Want to get something to eat?" 

I say,"Yes!" 

She says,"I should have known." 

I laugh and go up to the check out.  I pay for my stuff then we walk out of the store. 

I say,"So were do you want to eat?" 

She says,"Lets just eat at the food court." 

I say,"Okay. Sounds good." 

We walk to down stairs to the food court and get in line. 

After waiting 20 minutes in line we finally got to order. We both got hot dogs, fries, and drinks.  We find a table and sit down. 

I say,"So have you and Connor been talking a lot?" 

She smiles and says,"We actually have." 

I say,"Details." 

She says,"Well we've been FaceTiming a lot and texting. We just talk about normal stuff and he's really sweet." 

I say,"Awhh. When are you guys going to hang out?" 

She says,"He wanted to go see a movie today but I told him me and you were spending the day together." 

I say,"You need to go!" 

She says,"What? No this is our day."  I look down at my phone to see that it's 4.

I say,"It's 4.  Text him and say you can hang out." 

She says,"Are you sure?" 

I say,"Yes!" 

She says,"Okay, okay." 

She pulls out her phone and starts typing.

She says,"Okay I did it." 

I say,"Good." 

We start eating and after a few minutes I hear her phone buzz.  She unlocks it and smiles. 

I say,"So? What did he say?" 

She says,"He wants to meet up in an hour." 

I say,"Good!" 

She says,"I guess we should go." 

I say," Yeah we should." 
We get up and throw a way our trash. 

I say,"You ready?" 

She smiles and says,"Yep." 

We walk out of the mall and get in my car. 

I say,"You want me to drop you off at your house?" 

She says,"Yeah. I'll text you the details of my date later." 

I smile and say,"Okay." 

I start the car and pull out of the parking lot.

It only takes me about 30 minutes to get to Alice's house from the mall. I pull into her drive way and she says,"I'll talk to you later." 

I say,"Okay have fun and be safe."

She rolls her eyes and says,"Im not going to do that." 

I say,"I thought that too." 

She laughs and says,"That's true. Well I'll be safer than you were."

I say,"Bye." 

She puts her hand on my stomach and says,"Bye babies. By Alex." 

She gets out of the car and walks into her house. I pull out of her drive way and start driving toward my house.

Who hates being sick? I sure do. Ugh. Well I hope you guys like this chapter. The next one will probably have Josh in it. Tell me what you think!
