Chapter 2 - The First Two Weeks of School

"AHHH!" I screamed falling out of bed. "Stupid alarm.." I said as I got up and turned the alarm off. Ok It's 8:00am I have 2 hours till I have to be at school. I quickly grabbed my blue sweater, black leggings, and my phone. I went to the kitchen and made waffles. When I finished eating I went to the bathroom brushed me teeth, put on makeup and did my hair. Now all I have to do is put my stuff in my bag then I'm ready to go!

"You ready to go?" Emily asked, pulling her keys out of her pocket

"Yep!" I smiled giggling a little. "Lets go!"

Emily nodded and walked out the door, I locked the door behind us. We went down the elevator and walked to the parking lot. We both took our own cars and started driving to the university. The closer we get the happier and nervous I get.

I CAN DO THIS! I CAN DO THIS! I CAN'T DO THIS! WHAT AM I SAYING I'M 20 YEARS OLD OF COURSE I CAN DO IT! Right? I'll have Emily in both the classes so there is no need to be scared.

I parked my car at the university and Emily pulled in beside me. "C'mon, I don't want to late on the first day." I sighed, standing beside Emily.

Emily nodded and started walking towards the building. "Case studies is in building B room 4. Building A is over there so I'm assuming the B building is the one beside it.."

We walked towards the double doors of building B and walked in. We walked to the room labeled and walked in. OMG I thought to myself. IT'S RYUZAKI AND LEVI! Me and Ryuzaki both made eye contact and smiled. I saw Emily frozen staring at Levi so I decided to find our seats. I picked the seats right behind Ryuzaki and Levi.

"Ryuzaki! I didn't know you enrolled at TDU!" I exclaimed happily, enjoying the fact that my sugar loving companion was in our class.

"What the fuck are you looking at?" Emily asked, glaring at him.

"Not you if that's what you think, brat" he grumbled turning around to face the front.

Me and Emily both looked at the front as the professor walked into class. He was tall, probably in his 30's with blond hair to match his big blond eyebrows.

"Good morning and welcome to your first day of Case Studies! I am your professor, Mr. Smith. Over the next two weeks I will be looking at your abilities to rank you in the class. At the end of the two weeks, I will pair you up with who I think is most suitable for you. They will be your partner for the entire semester." Mr. Smith explained, looking at each one of us. "Let's take attendance. Don't worry, I'll only be taking attendance until I'm familiar with all of your names." He grabbed a piece of paper off his desk and started reading off the names." Levi Ackerman?

Levi raised his hand and muttered a 'here'. Wow isn't he happy.

"Misa Amane?"

"Here!" A bubbly blond girl smiled raising her hand high into the air.

"Kayla Moon?"

I raised my hand and smiled.

"Emily Northwood?"

"Here." She smiled raising her hand.

"Ryuzaki?"

Ryuzaki raised his hand and mumbled a 'here'.

"Light Yagami?"

"Here." A boy smiled, he was sitting next to the bubbly blond girl (I think her name is Misa) but something tells me he doesn't want to sit there.

Attendance went on for a bit longer then he started the lesson. Today it was mostly what we would be learning about for the semester and what is acceptable and not acceptable in class. (Ex. being late for class is bad, having food is fine, ect.). The two hours went by really fast and was already 12:00, which means Emily and I have an hour for lunch till be have to go to Law Enforcement.
