Chapter 4 - The Three Boys

"YOU AND RYUZAKI ARE DATING?!" Emily screamed as soon as the two boys left. "WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?!"

"Well... Today we went to the bakery and he made me sit down and wait while he got the food, then when he came he said 'Well I know we've only been friends for a short time but...' then he placed a strawberry cake on the table and it said 'Will you be my girlfriend?' then I started crying and said yes!" I explained, blushing and smiling like crazy. 

"AWWWW! YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE!" Emily squealed excitedly. "MY BEST FRIEND HAS A BOYFRIEND WHAT THE HELL?! NO FAIR I WANT ONE TOO! KAYLA DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANYTHING ABOUT LEVI AND I! WE DO NOT LIKE EACH OTHER LIKE THAT!" I smiled and rolled my eyes.

I was trying to concentrate on Law Enforcement, but got distracted when I saw Emily lay her head on the desk. After about 45 minutes later I woke Emily up by shaking her. "Em. Em wake up we have to go to work now." I whispered shaking Emily awake. 

Emily groaned grabbed her stuff and then we walked out of the class and towards the parking lot. 

"EMILY!" Light yelled running towards us. "Hey Light, what's up?" Emily asked smiling. I looked at Emily and I could tell she was trying not to blush because I knew she had a crush on him. I didn't stay with them because I knew they weren't just going to talk about Emily phone.

I started to drive to work and when I got there I texted Emily.

Me: I just left to go to work, you better tell me what you two were talking about because I know it wasn't about your phone!!!

Emily: KAYAL I HAEV SUHC GOOD NWES!!!
(Translation: KAYLA I HAVE SUCH GOOD NEWS!!!)

I got to work and of course Ryuzaki was there with cake. "Hey Kayla!" Ryuzaki said as I walked into the bakery. "Hey Ryuzaki!" I said running up and hugging him. "I have to work for about 3 hours then I can take a break. Want to talk then, if you don't want to wait three hours here you can go do whatever you want?" I asked as I picked up his empty cup. "Sure i'll will wait here for you." he said smiling a bit.

"Hey Ryuzaki!" I said walking over and sitting in front of him. "Hey Kayla." He said taking a bite of cake. He had the whole strawberry cake on the table. "Hey Kayla want some cake?" He asked pushing the cake in front of me. "Thanks, but no thanks, you can have it." I said smiling. "Kayla?" He asked looking at me. "Yeah?" I said a bit confused. "Do you want to go on a date tomorrow then meet some of my other friends?" He asked starting to blush a bit. "SURE, I'd love to." I screamed a bit. I wonder what his other friends are like? "Hey Ryuzaki what are your friends like?" I asked excitedly. "Well they're names are Mello, Near, and Matt. Mello LOVES chocolate, but can get mad very easily. Near likes to do puzzles, make dice towers and play with toys. Matt loves video games and would do anything to play them. "I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET THEM!!!" I screamed. Tomorrow is going to be really fun! "Well I have to get back to work for about an hour." I said getting up and hugging Ryuzaki. "Alright. See you tomorrow." Ryuzaki said hugging back then leaving the bakery.

"Finally I can go home." I said locking the door. I walked to my car and headed home. As soon as I got home I sat on the couch and waited for Emily to get home. About 10 minutes past before I heard the door open. I got up and ran to Emily.

"Sooo? What did you and Light talk about???" I asked dragging her to the couch. 

"Well.. HE ASKED ME ON A DATE!!!" Emily screamed happily.

"NO!" I screamed excitedly. Emily nodded and started smiling like crazy. "WOWOWOW MY BEAST FRIEND IS GOING ON A DATE!!! Wait! What about Levi?!" 

"We aren't dating!" Emily exclaimed. "We're just friends, that's it!"
