todays topic is: dinosaurs

dinosaurs are awesome.

[fun fact: I follow an account on insta that is called 'fun dino facts']

about a year ago i was in a zoo with a few of my friends, and most of it was outside. the zebras, bears, birds and more animals like that were all outside and we were walking around when it suddenly started raining really heavily.
now, normally i love rain but this time i had all these friends with me who started complaining (sigh) and the backpacks with the food inside of them were getting soaked in a matter of minutes too, so we decided to go search for shelter.
we ended up in some kind of restaurant in the zoo, only there wasn't any food (they had drinks, though) and there weren't many places to sit. mostly it was a giant hall in which they had build a fake rainforest. only then very real.
oh and did i mention there were friggen dinOSAURS EVERYWHERE?!

i was in heaven and my friends were in shock, basically.

okay, okay, i know the dinosaurs weren't real. they were plastic and fake i know that. but listen, they moved! they could move! and they made sounds! and there were the right noises everywhere! and it smelled and felt like you were actually there!

in the hall was this pit with sand and ropes  where children could play around and climb (my friends were children apparently (all 15/16 y/o but that's fine)).
I'm afraid of heights, so i bid my goodbyes to them, took the million bags we had with us, but them in one of the carts they had at the door (y'know, the ones you can drag behind you..~) and went on expedition.

literally, i walked around for at least 2 hours, all on my own. i had the time of my lifeu, honestly. it was glorious.

(it's hard to explain what is was like when you haven't been there, but i will try.)
basically, they had many paths leading to nothing or to something. the paths leading to something were all kind of slowly leading to the middle/the way out/the terrace.
there were huge trees and bushes everywhere and there were footprints of dinosaurs too.
and then there were the dinosaurs themselves, ofcourse.
in the middle was the sandy pit with the climbing thing, which lead to a watery plaything with little wooden boards you could use to get to the other side of the water.
right underneath a gigantic t-rex. you know what a t-rex is, right? it's the scary big one...~

yep

yep.
and that...thing was making noises and opening his mouth and shuddering his skin and tail and paws and tongue like that constantly. it was probably one of the best parts.
(i wanna marry the person who thought of this place.)

but there were way more dinosaurs. sticking their heads up from bushes and looking around and some even passed the path. (those didn't move btw)

there also was a corner in a cave thingie, that contained some actual fossils of slugs and things like that. also models of skeletons of small dinosaurs.

so yeah, i walked around there and i saw literally ever little thing. I'm still getting all happy and hyped up by thinking about it c:

but all things aside, I don't understand how someone can dislike dinosaurs.

how can you dislike something so mysterious. do you not think it's exciting? how there's so little known?there's so much to explore. i think it's wonderful.

 i think it's wonderful
