Beep beep beep beep. I slap my alarm until it shuts off. I check the time, 6:30. I need to be at school by 7:30. 5 more minutes....

"Carter? Caaaarter? CARTER!"

"Hmm.." I mumble.

"You have school!" My mom yanks the covers off of me and I sit up.

7:10. It takes 10 minutes to get to school. "Shit!" I jump up and toss on a pair of sweatpants and an over-sized tee shirt. Perfect, my first day of my senior year and I look like a homeless person.

The ride was short, probably because I was going 10 mph over the speed limit.
I made it into school just as the home room bell was ringing.

"Everybody take your seats so I can take attendance." Mrs. Lewis said. "....Carter Davis?"

"Here!" I said loudly so she could hear.

"Miranda Kennedy?" I jumped up in excitement and turned my head to see my best friend raising her arm.

"Hey Miranda!" I said in a loud whisper.

"Hey girl!" Miranda replied.

"How was your su-" I got cut off by the first period bell. Everybody got up and gathered their books. "What class do you have first?" I reached for my schedule.

"I have English first with Mr. Parker."

"Me too!!! Let's walk together." We got into English and sat next to each other in the first row.

"Good morning class. I'm Mr. Parker." I looked up to see my teacher, my gorgeous English teacher. Miranda elbows my side, "Holy hotness."

"Oh...my...goodness." I stutter out. Our eyes meet. I stare into his deep brown eyes. He smirks as my jaw drops. He is so hot. He clears his throat which snaps me out of my deep thoughts, "First, I will be handing out your English rubrics. Take one and pass the rest behind you."

He hands me a stack of about 6 papers and his hand touches mine. He smirks again, sending shivers down my spine. I pass the papers back. Miranda slaps my hand, "What the hell? Lucky."

"Whatever!" I laugh

"Ladies, no talking in class please." Mr. Parker exclaims to us.

"Sorry." I said, I could feel my face burning up.

"Awh you're embarrassed." Miranda teased.

"Miranda!" I shouted.

"Excuse me! Please see me after class, Ms," he pauses "Davis." Mr. Parker said as he scanned down his attendance chart to find my name.

"Thanks." I sarcastically whispered to Miranda, glaring at her.

"Anything for a friend." She said sarcastically with a smile.

Class passed by quickly, I was thinking about seeing Mr. Parker after class.

The bell rings, "Ms. Davis come to my desk please," I walk up to his desk and he points his finger to the chair in front of his desk, "Have a seat." I sit down and place my pen and notebook on his desk.

"Yes, Mr. Parker?" I slouched down in my chair. I watched as the class emptied and we were the only two in the classroom.

"What could you possibly have been talking about that was more important then what I was saying?" He was leaning back in his computer chair, smirking.

"Nothing." I could feel my face getting even more red then the shade of pink that it already was.

"It's not good to lie to your teacher, you know?" He was staring at me, "I heard what your friend said." Mr. Parker was smirking again, his cute, awkward smile. His face was getting red.

"Uh, h-how did you hear her?" I barely spoke loud enough for him to hear.

"Ms. Davis, you sat in the front row. And I was practically three feet in front of you both." he said, giving a little chuckle.

"Mr. Parker, call me Carter. And it was Miranda that said it, not me!" I said excitedly.

"I could tell you were thinking the same when you were basically drooling." He smiled with his pearly white teeth. His smile was so hot. He looks so cute just sitting there smiling.

My thoughts were interrupted with the bell tone. "Mr. Parker, I have to get to my next class." I got up quickly and started walking out of his classroom.

"Bye, Carter."

"Bye, Mr. Parker." I smiled when he said my name.

Oh my gosh.

I have a crush on my teacher.
