Me and Nick texted for an hour until he said he had to go work out at the gym. He was kinda of flirting with me I guess, but I didn't flirt back.I am thinking about Mr. Parker a lot. Why did I walk away from him? Why didn't I just talk to him? It was getting late now, nine o'clock. I head upstairs and turn on the water to the shower.
I relaxed in the hot and steamy shower. I washed my body with a new lavender scrub from Bath & Body Works. I turned off the shower and dried off, I tossed on a pair of booty shorts and a sweatshirt.
Making my way to my room, I hear my phone ring. Caller ID says it's a blocked number. I answered to see who it was, if they'd tell me.
"Hello?" I asked into the phone.
"Hey Carter, it's Bryce." My mouth dropped open in surprise.
"Why is your number blocked?"
"You wouldn't have answered if you knew it was me." I shook my head even though I knew he couldn't see me. He sounded disappointed, but it was true. I felt awful about what I did, but for some reason it felt like it had to be done.
"Can I talk to you about this morning?" He said without waiting for my reply, I wasn't going to give one any way.
"I really have to get to bed," It was Friday night but i was actually really tired. I wanted to get some sleep, "Goodnight Mr. Parker."
"Look I just want to say something-" I hung up. Then, I laid down in my bed and turned on my radio. I fell asleep to the sound of a Halsey song.

The next morning I woke up at ten. I picked up my phone and saw I had three messages from Miranda.Get ready.
We are going out today.
WAKE UP!!!!!All of those in five minute intervals. I reply back with:
Be here in ten:)
I toss my phone in my bed and head downstairs to the kitchen. I picked out pancake mix and chocolate chips from the cabinet and got a big bowl out. I pour in my pancake mix and some water. I stir that and then add my chocolate chips. I scooped some mix onto the hot pan that I had prepared with butter spread on it.
All that took over ten minutes, Miranda barged in through my front door.
"Here!" She called out.
"In the kitchen." I call back.
"Something smells good," Miranda took a big whiff, "Ohh pancakes."
"I am making enough for both of us." I laughed.
"Oh goodie, I'm starving."
"Don't worry fatass. They'll be done soon." All she did was huff and pretended to be offended.
That pretty much sums up our friendship. Her welcoming herself into my house, insisting my food, me insulting her, and her being "offended". It also goes the other way around.
Pancakes were done, so I placed two medium sized pancakes on two plates. I opened up the fridge and got some syrup and orange juice.
"So what are we doing today?" I asked after taking a big bite of my pancake.
"Well after you get ready," she paused and I rolled my eyes, "we are going shopping and going out to lunch."
"Sounds good, but I have to stop at the grocery store later, I'm tired of eating ramen for dinner every night." I complain.
