The Girl In The Fireplace

*A/N- Sorry for the long wait. I will work on updating my fanfics...and perhaps redoing my OUAT one. But here it is the long awaited The Girl In The Fireplace.*

People were running away with terror, all of them wearing masks and ballgowns. But one woman didn't run she stood in front of a fireplace "We are under attack! There are creatures I don't even think they're human. We can't stop them," A man shouted

"The clock is broken. She is coming,"

"Did you hear what I said?"

"Listen to me. There is a girl coming to Versailles. She has watched over me my whole life and she will not desert me tonight,"

"What are you talking about? What girl?"

"No, don't look like that, there's no time. You have your duties. I am your mistress. Go to your queen." she looked back into the fireplace "Are you there? Can you hear me? I need you now. You promised. The clock on the mantel is broken. It is time. Matrix! Matrix!"

I sat up hearing someone knocking on my door "Hurry up Celes!!" Rose shouted from the other side.

Looking at the ceiling I sighed "What trouble have you got us into this time," she hummed and I laughed "Right, you give us the destination it's dad who gets us in trouble,"

"I get who in trouble?" I smirked as I saw him poke his head in my room.

"Nothing," I walked with him out into the console room "So where are we this time?"

"Look for yourself," I was about to open the door when Mickey beat me to it.

"It's a spaceship Brilliant! I got a spaceship on my first go,"

"It looks kind of abandoned. Anyone on board?"

"Nah, nothing here. Well, nothing dangerous," I quirked an eyebrow at him "Well, not that dangerous,"

"I'll just have a quick scan, in case there's anything dangerous," I told him as I took his sonic screwdriver. He gave me a pout and I playfully pushed him as I walked around.

"So, what's the date? How far we gone?"

"About three thousand years into your future, give or take," he flicked a switch and I watched as the ceiling parted to show the stars.

"Fifty first century. Diagmar Cluster," I noted

"You're a long way from home, Mickey. Two and a half galaxies,"

"Mickey Smith, meet the universe. See anything you like?" I rolled my eyes as I heard her flirting tone.

"It's so realistic!"

I interrupted the conversation "Dear me, had some cowboys in here. Got a ton of repair work going on,"

my dad walked over to where I was "Now that's odd." I looked at what he was looking at "Look at that."

"All the warp engines are going. Full capacity. There's enough power running through this ship to punch a hole in the universe, but we're not moving."

"So where's all that power going?"

"Where'd all the crew go?" Rose asked

"Good question. No life readings on board," I stated

"Well, we're in deep space. They didn't just nip out for a quick smoke,"

I shook my head "No, I've checked all the smoking pods."
